i'm a few days late with this and a little suprised nobody else caught it, but this wednesday was the first anniversary of glenn's death. i don't really know what to say about it except that i'm sure this is a very hard time for his family. the 1st anniversary of a child's death is always the hardest, but it doesnt get much easier each year. i know for one theyll be in my prayers, even a few days late. it's just too bad a guy like him had to go so long before his time, all because he partied just a little too hard one night.

Oh my sweet God. I had no idea that he was deceased. I just started watching Roseanne a few month's ago.
I recall a vague buzz about it last year year on Sitcoms Online--on Chit Chat, but I wasn't familiar with the show, so I didn't pay much attention and quickly forgot. Even now, I just had to do a search on imdb to find out who Glenn Quinn was, and I almost had a heart attack when his picture showed up. I actually gasped. I feel just horrible. All this time, I've been watching Glenn portray Mark, and I didn't know. Terrible shame. I am truly in shock right now. I just can't believe it. The poor guy.

Glenn Quinn was a very good actor. I liked him in Angel and of course Roseanne. He was to young to die.

It really depressed me last year when I heard and I'm still depressed. He was a wonderful actor and I'm really upset that I'll never see a new show he's in. I watched him in Roseanne and Angel and he was great in both. My prayers are with his family.

I just hope Glenn's story teaches a lesson for future people to not get mixed up in the same situations. I've heard the reason they killed him off on Angel so quickly (he died in the 9th or 10th episode) is because his drug problems were making him extremely dificult to work with on the set. Plus, look at how much he'd aged in the 2 1/2 years from the final episode of Roseanne to the Angel episodes. He was so cute on Buffy while he looked much older (he actually was the same age as Boreanez and Carpenter on Angel, who were both 28-29 at the time... yet looked a good 5 years older than both) and worn out on Angel.
Let's just hope Glenn didn't die in vain and that his life and death will help other people to steer clear of drugs and the path it leads them down |

He was such a good actor...he played that "Dumb as a rock" charector perfectly! He was sooooo handsome. I too was in shock and when I watch Roseanne now, my heart aches for him and his family. Rest in Peace sweet boy. Anyother fans, if you want to talk about Glenn, email me at missingglenquinn@yahoo.com

I remember hearing of his death about 4 months ago for the first time....
Has anyone from Roseanne, said anything about his death? Did either of the Becky's talk about it or make a statement since they did play next to him for his run on the series? I would think that the actors that portrayed Becky would have been really hurt? So sad that he is gone, I didnt even know he had a drug problem, I thought he was a great actor. I didnt even know he was on Angel/Buffy. Wonder if I can see it in a rerun? |
