Don't forget, Christmas Day, WB11 presents the annual Christmas Yule Log. It features Christmas music set into the TV fireplace. It will be shown for the first time in 28 years, it will be 4 hours long without any commercial interruptions. Check out the Yule Log offical website http://www.theyulelog.net/ This holiday special was originally aired on WPIX back in 1966. It's a must have. 4 hours of continuous uninterrupted Christmas music. Besure to watch it or watch the online version at http://wpix.feedroom.com/iframeset.jsp?ord=485492

WPIX's "Yule Log" was originally filmed in 1966 at Gracie Mansion in Albany (that's about almost an hour north from here). I enjoyed watching this year's special, because it features Christmas music by Percy Faith, Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra, Mantovani, Frank Sinatra, Ray Conniff and many more. There are no actors in that special, just the fireplace. If you like Christmas music all month long, tune in to Music Choice for all holiday music on the channel called "Sounds of the Season". Here's an old ad from TV Guide back in 1967.

Pavanbadal, has anybody check out the website http://www.theyulelog.net that brings back a lot of memories. It features ads and articles about the WPIX "Yule Log" and some vintage clips from the special including station IDs and openings from the annual season. In addition to that, it features articles about the return of the "Yule Log" back in 2001. How do like that site?
