My favorites are:
"The Christmas Song" (Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...) "Jingle Bells" These two are the only ones recorded by Rick Nelson, so I have to stick with him. On the religious side, I love "Gesu Bambino" and "O Holy Night". |

I like a lot of Christmas songs (mostly traditional). My all-time favorities are O Holy Night and O Come All Ye Faithful.
Martina's 1999 version of "White Christmas" is definitely the best Christmas album I have ever heard. |

I love Christmas music. I could listen to it all year. One complaint I have is the radio stations that play continuous Christmas music, only have a limited programming list. There's so much Christmas music out there, they don't seem to want to play it.
Anyhoo, my top 14-- 1)Sleigh Ride--Leroy Anderson Orchestra. The instrumental version is the best, especially the trumpets & trombones in the middle of the song. They kick ass!! 2)It's Christmas Time Again--Extreme 3)Because It's Christmas--Barry Manilow 4)Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24--Trans-Siberian Orchestra 5)All I Want for Christmas is You--Mariah Carey 6)Wonderful Christmastime--Paul McCartney 7)Heart Candy Christmas--Dolly Parton 8)12 Days of Christmas--The Muppets 9)Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas--Judy Garland's version is the best. 10)Jingle Bells--Barbra Streisand's version is another version that also kicks ass. 11)Step Into Christmas--Elton John 12)Silent Night--Mannhein Steamroller--This version is so haunting. 13)Something About Christmastime--Bryan Adams 14)Jingle Bell Rock--Hall & Oates and it's not exactly a Christmas song but Barry Manilow does a song called "It's Just Another New Year's Eve", which I love. Any version of Hark the Herald Angels Sing and Angels We Have Heard on High. I've always loved those 2 songs. Now, I used to love John Lennon's "Happy Christmas(War Is Over)" and Wham's "Last Christmas", but I'm just hearing both songs way too much, and I guess I'm getting sick of them. Oh, and I am so over ANY VERSION of Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow AND Winter Wonderland!!!
