Default Thomas Haden Church: Unexpected Heartthrob?!?

For a guy who was a dumb, greasy mechanic on Wings,
Thomas Haden Church seems to be quite the heartthrob lately.
What's up with this?
I truely thought I was the only one eccentric enough to get a crush on him and suddenly, after I began searching him up on the internet and making message boards and stuff, I found out about THC's little fanbase.
Actually, I'm a little more then a bit surprised.

What woman can really love the jerkery of Ned Dorsey, the snobbishness of Lyle Van de Groot of George of the Junge or the harshness of Drew Oslett jr. of Mr. Murder?

It's getting to the point lately that quirky men are getting all the girlie fans.
Hal Sparks, Michael Ian Black, Mo Rocca, Thomas Haden Church, to name a few.
So what's up with this?

the world is going into chaos, social orders are crumbling! i guess now its cool to be either nerdy, dorky, eccentric or a little bit stupid (as long as your still cute). maybe all the time i spend in the gym and money i spend on nice clothes and cologne and all that are going to waste...

Obviously.
But you're right about the "stupider" thing I've heard about 'Newlyweds' and 'The Simple Life'.
Like, what do you buy at Wal-Mart? Walls... or stuff?

I'd like to think that Jessica Simpson is just exaggerating for the sake of incorporating some humor into her show. I refuse to believe that a human being can be THAT clueless. We all have ditzy moments every now and then, but her life is like one gigantic ditzopalooza. At least with Lowell, we're just dealing with a character...and a lovable one at that. And as intellectually-challenged as he is I bet he knows that it's 'platypus' and not 'platamapus'. LOL.

i'm not sure either. but i think last night was the first time i saw his final epsiode. it was actually pretty touching. i especially liked at the end where theymade the spot in the hangar for lowell's hat. like a tribute to him, but does anyone know if that hat stays there for the rest of the series? i guess i'll just have to watch and pay attention to find out.

His contract was running out and I suppose he had 'Creative Differences'.
