Post No Lucy Show in the future!!

I just e-mailed TVLand and they told me that TVLand has no
intentions of airing "The Lucy Show" now or in the future!!
I also wrote to Hallmark and they said that they decided not to air the show in January, but they passed my message onto the programming department. So there is a possible chance that if all of us keep on asking Hallmark and tell them of how great of a network they are and how you want to see "The Lucy Show", they could air the show. If you think of it, Hallmark is our only hope! Just because they dropped the idea of airing the show in January doesn't mean that they might think about airing the show in the future! I don't care about TVLand anymore because they believe Lucy's later work doesn't matter! or as they said it
("We have THE Lucy! The other Lucys are not the true LUCY that people want to see!")

The only reason THEY think that is because the general public hasn't seen those later shows in decades, if they did, they would change their tune, vicious circle ain't it? They won't air them because the public doesn't want them and the public doesn't want them because they don't see them so they could understand what they're missing!

What horrible news! I hope that Hallmark starts airing it, because I doubt TVLand ever will now. I agree with Claude, how can people want to see this show if they can't remember it, and how good it was? I've seen about half of this series (well actually the whole thing, but I own half. I barely remember the other episodes), and it's every bit as funny as I Love Lucy! People need to realize that Lucy isn't only "Lucy Ricardo," her other work is great and needs to been seen. That's the problem though, if people can't see these shows, they'll never know how good it is.

I think we should all e-mail Paramount Domestic Television or
Columbia House and request that they release The Lucy Show by seasons with the original opening credits, unedit, digtally enhanced and perfect sound quality and bloopers, outtakes and more!!!!!

Do that now!!
Go to
www.paramount.com
go to contact them and write a letter to them!
Tell them you want "The Lucy Show" on DVD!!!!

The Lucy Show is the best Lucille Ball show ever! How could TV Land be so stupid. Don't they get that some fans are sick of I Love Lucy?

Is tv land owned by nickelodeon? i heard it was, the last time i seen the lucy show was on nick at night it was around april of 1993, if tv land is owned by nick, then they seem to be sending all of their 90s programming over there to tv land, maby you should write to nickelodeon and see if they can air it again, i myself love anything lucill ball did and i allso loved the theme song to the lucy show.

It's not that The Lucy show or Here's Lucy are superior in any way to I Love Lucy, but seing as we know all the I Love Lucy shows by heart it's just nice to see Lucy in something different for a change, and all 500 plus of her shows are great.

I think TV Land should keep airing I Love Lucy and add The Lucy Show. Afterall, they can make room for one more Lucy show since TV Land usually airs their shows like four times a day.
Currently, TV Land airs ILL two times a day, so it wouldn't hurt to bring on TLS and air that two times a day. If you add that up is comes to four times of Lucy a day which is perfect.

Even if TV Land were to give TLS mediocre slots than that would be far better than where it is now (off the air).

I agree, i think if The lucy show were on at 3 am, we could atleast video tape it to watch it at our convenience, but tv land doesnt seem to listen to the viewers, i know people that have written in to see the lucy show on tv land, but they never get an answer.
