How come some people will receive replies earlier than others? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Like when I wrote Nancy MCKeon somebody said that they got a reply within a month another said that it took 5 MONTHS! I 've sent 4 one each month still noth'n! WHy do some get the replys earlier? Are they just lucky or something?

My guess, and keep in mind that this is only a guess, is that these people go through their fan mail and end up totally randomly replying. I doubt there's time to reply to all of them, so they just try to do what they can and that's why some people get responses quicker and easier than others. The luck of the draw. I could be way off (hell, I often am) but that would be my best guess.
