Default Record of The Year

These are the Grammy nominees, now it's your turn to pick. What's your choice for Record of The Year?

If "Where is the Love" gets the win, I'm going to grab my butcher's knife and stab myself over and over until I bleed to death. I hate that song.

I think it's pretty obvious what I'm going to vote for, Coldplay Clocks. It's nice that it actually got the a nomination, although it deserved a nomination for best album of the year.

when are the grammys anyway? I don't want to miss them (I just want to see Coldplay win.)

Why is this too much when r&b and rap artists have been under-represented in this category for years??

My god. Theres only one album in there that actually has music on it, and that's Coldplay and I dont even like them that much. So much of "pop music" is horrible now.

well, very rarely if you ask me to name the 5 Best Singles of a year, will I list rap. It's not "underrepresented", it frankly isn't good enough. I give you Outkast, they're original and their stuff is catchy, but I do not think that Black Eyed Peas or Beyonce were anywhere near the best songs of 2003

Hip hop has gotten way too much airplay this year, and I do think a disco/teen-pop esque backlash is around the corner if the top 10 stays dominated with rap constantly. One genre of music can only dominate so long before people finally scream mercy.

I'm going to have to go with Outkast on this one. A very catchy number, and enough to reel this non-hip hop fan in!

Love the video, too. Even though Paul McCartney has already done it with his clip for "Coming Up," I think Outkast's video is far more entertaining.

Coldplay should win, or maybe even Eminem. The rest of the list is full of it. Come on, which of those songs will still have people talking about it in ten years? "Crazy in Love" just looks like a joke in this category, she deserved her nominations, except this one.

Although she got 5 other nominations, I think the GRAMMY's were COMPLETELY idiotic for leaving out "Beautiful" from this category. Even though most of you guys hate her, I bet you guys feel the same in the back of your head.

I actually don't like Beautiful that much. It has a good meaning, but the way she sings it...Just my opinion though.
