Was Desi Arnaz ever a guest on this show and what year was he on it?

Yep, Desi Arnaz guest starred along with Janis Paige in the second season episode, The Cuban Connection.

Long-time Lucy writers Bob Carroll Jr. and Madelyn Davis produced "Alice", so I have a feeling they had something to do with Desi showing up (they also wrote for "The Mothers-in-Law, which Desi produced).

I remember seeing this episode and being just stunned at how old he looked. He was about 60 at the time, and looked 15 years older. He did not age well at all.
