Default N@N talking over credits

does anyone else get annoyed every night how when the show goes to credits but there is still the last scene, N@N puts the stupid commentators voice over it telling us about whats coming up next. this drives me up a wall, you'd think they would realize they are making us miss part of the show.

i strain to hear whats going on too, i wonder if nick realizes that most people who were watching wings arent listening to any of what the announcer is saying. i wish they would see their mistake and just wait to do their pitch until the end of the credits when the music plays.

I'd suggest using the Closed Captioning on your TV's menu (if your TV is from 1998 or beyond).
Unfortunately, I don't think that N@N is going to stop this.

"Don't you hate how they call them 'Daisy Dukes' instead of 'Crissy Snows'?"
"You should think by now that the announcer would say 'Something's cooking at Jack Tripper's house.'!"

oh yeah, that daisy dukes line drives me nuts as well as the one about steven weber doing the producers on broadway now. does n@n even realize they have loyal viewers that get sick of that stuff?

damn, i dont know why i never thought to use the cc on the credits, thanks for reminding me, that will make things much more tolerable.

How about one over the 'All in the Family' credits that says "Remember how Lowell Mather left NBC for that marriage of convenience on FOX? Well he'll NEVER leave us because we have him in bondage on the N@N executive's desk! Wings is next on N@N!"

Well, okay, it IS a bit creepy, but that's how I feel about N@N. "They're one of US now!"

Did someone from this board complain to N@N cause last night's episode (Nuptuals Off) the voice over came on for a split second and then it was gone.

What's really annoying is that Steven hasn't been in "The Producers" for almost a year now...and even when he WAS in it, it wasn't considered to be one of his greatest triumphs (not because it was HIS fault...there apparently were some behind-the-scenes problems).

Some of those end-of-program NICK comments are so tasteless, I wouldn't be surprised if they made some crack about Casey becoming a recent widow! (NICK seems to like to blur the real-life actor's and the fictional character's lives so they're one combined mess that they can make "cute" comments about!).

Okay, how about THIS one:

"Wings is the show that Thomas Haden Church was in before he left and got into a fake marriage to advance his career. Next on N@N."

What's next? The announcer is going to say "Ange Faitore's favorite actor is Thomas Haden Church! You're such a loser, Ange! Wings is next on Nick at Nite!"
