Default How can Ray not recognize a preposition?

I'd like to know how a professional sportswriter, who apparently graduated from St. John's University, can be incapable of ascertaining the difference between a "proposition" and preposition.

Incidentally, the EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND writing team was incorrect about the content of the Gale Sayers chapter in GREAT RUNNING BACKS OF THE NFL. Brian Piccolo, who was diagnosed with cancer circa 1969, was not in the text of a book published prior to 1969. Marie obviously did not read GREAT RUNNING BACKS OF THE NFL as depicted on an episode of EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND>

How is it that Marie is more scholarly than Ray? From what college or university did Marie attain a degreee? How can an apparent graduate of St. John's University be classified as a dunce?

Some people take television a little too seriously.

I don't care as long as it's funny.

No...but come on. As a sportwriter you need a degree in journalism or broadcasting. And do you know how many English classes you have to take to get either one of those degrees???

Ray should ask Debra for writing advice when he's writing his sport's column. I think she blows him out of the water from an intellectual standpoint....actually in every way.

Did you forget about Debra's one day career? Notwithstanding her tenure with publicity department of the New York Rangers, Debra hasn't emitted any sports expertise on Everybody Loves Raymond.

Debra is better than Raymond at everything. He couldn't tie his shoes in the morning without her help or his Mommy's.

Raymond is a whinebag.

Debra certainly wasn't better than Raymond in the episodes pertaining to the celebrity visit and Debra's one day working career.

The celebrity psychologist who visited the Barone family thought Ray was a much more engaging character. Ray outclassed Debra with his wit. The psychologist reveled in Ray's "it's like a frat house" line.

In the Debra's one day working career episode Ray came up with a better campaign instantaneously, while the best Debra could do in days (Remember, Debra ran her "campaign" by six year-old Ally) was a bland "Professor Pete Sa".

Ray's "Lynn Guine" (linguine) was superior to Debra's "Professor Pete Sa".

Don't hate Debra because she is superior.

When I first started to watch the show (in syndication), I thought Ray worked at Newsweek Magazine, and I swore to never read the magazine again, then later I found out that he worked for the fish wrap Newsday, then it made sense, I think Ray pays them to work there.
