I was just wondering, I purchased the King of Queens dvd and I
noticed that the front door of Doug and Carrie's house is different when shot from the inside (it has a rectangular glass window) than when they show the view of the door from the outside (it shows three small windows). Am I missing something here, or is this a mistake? |

Well, let's see...
the shot from inside is actually a set in a Hollywood studio so I'd say they actually are different. Come on people, you're all taking this stuff too seriously. Like the guy who caught Arthur's beer with a head on it in one scene and then without any head when the camera switched immediately to another shot. Not really all that critical even though they do their best to get it right and catch the background things. Hey, stuff happens!

Not at all taking things too seriously, just find it interesting and it is something that I thought others might have noticed. Love the show, love to hear others observations and opinions on it! This IS a message board to discuss the King of Queens...

I was actually noticing it tonight and looking at the dvd and it's not remotely close to what the set's door looks like. It's almost like they're mocking it in a tongue in cheek manner and presenting us with the ultimate blooper as the two doors couldn't be any more different. You'd have to say it's almost deliberate.

That's a GREAT observation by the way. I'll have to keep my eyes open for it. |

There's no need to try to make someone look foolish by telling them that they're taking things too seriously. Nice way to make a new member feel welcome.

Hello. I am "the guy" that noticed about the head on Arthur's beer. I love the show but i also like to look for little mistakes or inconsistancies. I noticed on another episode also during a scene in the bedroom....you could see the boom mike for a second or two.
