Does anyone know who did the 1991 theme (Funky Trumpet & Drum)?

I believe it was Herb Alpert. It might be a good idea for you to post this same message on the Cosby message board. This way you can get a more definitive answer. But I think that's right.

Thanks for the reply. I'm really interested in the drum portion of the theme, more so than the trumpet part. Especially, who played or programed them. Although the trumpet part was really funky, I've never heard Herb Alpert get down like that...hmmm?

BTW, you're quite a looker too....
