I miss the Oregon snow during the winter time. I was about 3 when my family and I moved. My parents tell me that it was a very beautiful place. |

I went to Portland last year, and I loved it. That city has a great public transportation system, and the sanitation department keeps the city looking great, it's a very beautiful place.

I'm from Portland. Iv'e lived here pretty much my whole life except for the year I lived in Seattle, and the two years I lived in Milwaukee. I don't mind it here. It can be pretty boring, but from what Iv'e heard, half the States in the Nation are pretty boring. There are some extremely beautiful parts of Oregon. I pretty much live in one of Oregon's slums. I wont mention where, cause I don't want to offend, or hurt anyone's feelings, but my neighborhood is hardly an endorsment for the City to say the least. My mom's boyfriend use to live in the South, and everytime someone complains about Oregon sucking, he says just be glad you don't live in certain parts of the South. The stories he tells about some of those places gives me nightmares. Aside from our wretched economy here, I think overall Oregon's pretty cool. Especially our beaches!

I'm not from Portland, but only live about 100 (north) miles away. I've been there and in Oregon many times with cousins and family in Portland and Eugene. I do like Eugene better than Portland though, just becasue I know my way around there.
Oregon isn't boring! You have ocean, mountains and everything in between. Bend is a great place for all types of recreation with Mt Bachelor close by. The rain in the western part of the state does get BORING though! Bend gets snow and a lot hotter and dry in the summer. Hey, Burley-Furley, I'm from Washington state too, but not Seattle; closer to Olympia. I'm sick of rain all ready too! LOL |
