AHHH I hate where I live, I hate it.

Remember a couple weeks ago I posted about how I lived in public housing and they did mandated inspections, etc. Well at that point I had thrown some stuff away that the kids here were digging through the DUMPSTERS taking my garbage.

Well my daughter looked out the front door just a bit ago and said "hey, isnt' that my bike?????" . I looked outside and sure enough, her bike was thrown in front of our house. Someone had taken it out of our shed and just threw it. So then I remembered that I had a few other things in there, things from my car fire in October. My camcorder was in the car and was burned but I needed to keep it for insurance reasons in case I had to file a lawsuit against the car people. I also had my purse, which was of course burned and everything in it, but it was in there too. We went down to the shed and sure enough SOMEONE STOLE IT. Who the HE!! would want a burned camcorder and purse? I'm sure nothing in the purse was worth anything anymore but I had kept it under advice that i might need it in the future. I didn't have a lock on the shed yet (my fault, yes) but I didn't even IMAGINE someone would want to steal the BURNED STUFF out of it and I just hadn't gotten around yet to putting a lock on it. So that's my fault. But why are parents not paying attention to what their kids are doing? Why are they not teaching them that breaking into someone else's private property is wrong, that stealing is wrong?

I called the police and I'm waiting for them to arrive so that i can file a report. The stuff wasn't worth anything but it was literally all I had left out of that stupid car fire and I needed it for possible insurance reasons. *kicking myself for not putting a lock on it but angry because people are such ignorant jerks!*

Some people will steal anything just to steal. Parents and kids nowadays suck.

Amen! Not you guys, of course. But that's really why I'm not much of a people person anymore
