Default Whatever happened to Louis Carlucci?

On the same episode as the Lisa Marie Kimmell case, there was an update of the case of the 'Con Juan' Louis Carlucci. He was a polygamist who had fathered more than 30 children. His case was aired on the last prime time special before the show became a weekly one (May 18, 1988) and he was captured the next day. However, he posted bail and then failed to show up to two court meetings and authorities were looking for him again. Hence his case being re-aired on the Kimmell episode. I'm really curious if he was captured again. I tried searching for info on Google with no success.

Hi. I found your post actually, while doing a google search of my own on Louis Carlucci. Because my family (including myself)was victimized by him around 1979 in California. I found this information during my search ... http://nysdocslookup.docs.state.ny.u...0/WIQ3/WINQ130 Hope it helps. You may email if you'd like.I'd like to know anything current also.

Thank you very much for that link!

What I gathered from it was that Carlucci was imprisoned in November 1989 (eight months after the episode aired) and released in May 1994.

Well, I'm glad he was recaptured - after no one replied for so long I thought that he was never arrested again. It makes me wonder if a UM tip got him captured a second time, but if it did I know someone here would have known about it and let me know.

You are welcome. In any case, hopefully, MR. Carlucci has stayed out of peoples lives since his release. Or he's just become smarter about hiding his trails. As this is all I can find .SO FAR.

I am looking for more information on the Louis Carlucci case. I am very interested in purchasing the episode that shows his face. Louis Carlucci has more than 30 children, I know because I am his biological daughter. I have never seen what he looks like and am having a child of my own and would like to see. I am not a victim from the show but a child from a relationship many many years ago. Thank you for your help.

Very interesting post. I can't imagine what it would be like to never even know what your biological father looked like so I can certainly understand you wanting to see that. I have the segment you are looking for so you can contact me if you're interested.

Hmmm "StilSearching", you use the term "Appreciate" quite loosely. EXACTLY 2 years ago, you contacted ME from this thread as one of Carlucci's "Children" in search of information about him. By e-mail, I expressed my hesitance to divulge too much information to you, careful that ANYONE may BE the creep himself, that it would not be lost on the false pride of a slimy , pathetic, weaselly liar like Carlucci to come in here claiming to be his son and call himself "Lewis" instead of "Louis" , and to get his pitiful kicks by having his victims recount his "Glory days" to him, instead of facing his victims like a MAN would do. At the risk that you may be him or ANYONE collecting information to profit from the writing of a book, I chose to extend to you the benefit of the doubt ANYWAY because, I would rather risk that possibility than to deny a legitimate person the information that he seems to desperately seek. I then, went to great length, NO, EXTENSIVE length, recounting, and typing out for you the story of my experience with Louis Carlucci and that of my family's victimization by him. And you assured that you would help with what information you could give to help me and MY family have a clearer picture too. BUT your "APPRECIATION" for the lengths I went to and to set aside my suspicions for one of his "Children" and for the possibility of a greater good, was to renig on what YOU promised to ME . You stated that there was a personal issue in your extended family that you were dealing with. You assured me that you would take the time as soon as you could to return the effort. I graciously expressed understanding and told you to take your time and that I was eager but, would wait. One would think that if you were sincere, EVEN IF YOU HAD TRULY FORGOTTEN FOR ALL OF THIS TIME, that once you came back into this forum, your memory would immediately turn to me and you would revisit what you had promised me and make good on it. But, no. Two years later, almost TO THE DAY (Seems to be the Anniversary of something ), you come back to the forum only looking to TAKE some MORE? You know, I could have e-mailed you and called you out before now. But I chose to let it go. But then, I got a notification in my mailbox two years later that there was a new post and came to find that it was you. Some nerve.
I'll say that of course I know now as I knew two years ago, that there is no way to know if you ARE that pitiful little coward, or NOT. Irregardless, at the very least, you basically behaved just like he would. You TOOK what you wanted and disappeared. The difference NOW though, is that I'm NOT that helpless child anymore with a dead father and a drunk mother, that Louis Carlucci could just rip everything from and then drive off into the sunset never having to hear or see the aftermath of what he did to a poor, and desperate family. Nowadays, NOBODY manipulates what is mine from me . I make a conscious decision whether to give to someone, or to take a weighed-out risk with them or not. Anyone that cannot truly APPRECIATE a gift has lost out on receiving the better part of it. That is, the kindness in the giving, not the gift itself. But , don't mistake any kindness for weakness. Because nowadays, when people are dishonest or unfaithful to with me, I stand up and call it as I see it, on the spot . And as I see it... "Lewis", or "Louis", it doesn't MATTER how you SPELL it ...

Wow, I just read this now after all this time,,, you my friend need some help. Very quick to judge and assume, and only tell the public the details to support how you are feeling. Why didn't you contact me directly? Email? I do understand what happened to you and your family was horrible and wouldn't wish it on anyone, but don't think for a second you know how it feels to be of this bloodline, to be born from this monster. Your story cannot compare to some of those directly hurt by him for a lifetime, can never escape from, nor learn the truth from. I hold no grudge towards you, except again, really should have facts and evidence before you make accusations like that. I am not, nor will I ever be that man. I wish you the best moving forward, simply not worth wasting time with ill feelings.

For all those looking for information on Louis Carlucci:
I am a biological son of his and even though I only met the man 2-3 times in my life, I can understand all the pain and anguish and suffering he has caused so many people. I truly do not know the amount of people he hurt or the things he did because like everyone else, I only heard from the news and family members what he has done. Due to the fact that I personally never heard from anybody about the things done to them, I cannot deny their pain. When this episode came out, I was young and in high school. I was blown away by how he was portrayed in the show. If he was that much of an animal and did all those things and had all those kids, I pray for the suffering of those people involved. I know he was a sick man based on what I have heard through my family and stories I was told that I know are factual. In 2002 I spoke to the correctional facility in Minnesota where he was locked up to let them know his mother, my grandmother was on her deathbed. When I spoke to them I found out he was being released days later and that he was very sick. He was told to contact his mother and in Louis fashion he never did and she died without speaking to him. I later got correspondence that he lost his leg due to diabetes and in 2005 he had passed away. From what I found out he was laid to rest in Fl and that anyone who could prove next of kin would be able to find out where his body was. Just like everybody else, being a child of his was an embarrassment. It shames me to know that I came from a monster like him. And again I apologize and sympathize with all the individuals and families he has destroyed. One of the biggest things for me was to make sure I never turned out like him. The hurt he caused me was something I will never forget, but if you can't move past it you will never find peace in this world. The last time I saw his was in 1986, he was in the Queens house of detention in NY. At the time I was 18 and full of anger. I spoke with him and expressed my anger to him and how he destroyed the Carlucci name. After speaking to him I got a glimpse of his mental instability. I got to do something that I'm sure most would want to do, confront their demon. I'm not sure what else I can say. Like some of the posts have mentioned, I'm sure there are imposters or people just looking for information to benefit themselves. I do have pictures of Louis and certain information that I will give to someone I feel is truly one of my "siblings." I am very protective of my family and my profession and anyone who is looking at this as a game or to cause pain to others need not respond. To everyone who has suffered because of Louis Carlucci and whatever other aliases he went by, my deepest sympathies to them all. I do believe his demons got the best of him and he is in a place where all the suffering he caused, he is now paying for.

Default Wow!

I am his biological daughter and am interested in the pictures and information too. I too am not a product of the show but a relationship my mother had with him in the 70's. My mother did meet his mother and I'm sorry about her passing. I have many questions for you, if you are willing to answer. My mother passed years ago and the information they knew was kept secret until I graduated high school. My questions are for my own personal curiosity of my unknown family, and the past. Thank you for any help!
