end of show theme - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hello WKRP fans. I am looking for the words to the end theme. It is imposible to figure them out. Please help.

It's been stated a lot of times. There are no words to the ending theme it was just a bunch of screaming as kind of a joke.

Series creator Hugh Wilson said that the lyrics are "Went to the bartender...." then just a bunch of garbled nonsense gibberish, although I sware I can make out "I said good bartender, another round right here, yeah!" near the end.

Apparently the song was done by a session rock group and the vocals were supposed to be what's called a guide vocal or scratch track that was going to be replaced with real lyrics later but everybody loved the scratch vocal with non-sense words so it stayed.
