Season 8 Episode 1: A Crazy New World

(Cory Shawn Topanga and Eric are in Times Square)
Cory (to Topanga)- Well Honey we are finally here
Eric: Yeah the Big Peach
Topanga: Don't you mean Big Apple?
Eric: No sis I said what I said
Shawn: Alright guys I know that we are here in NY but this doesnt feel like home
Cory: We've been here for an Hour how do you expect it to feel?
Topanga: Well lets go check into a hotel so we have a place to stay tonight.

(Opening song/video)

(Hotel Lobby)
(Topanga talking to lady at desk)- Hi, I would like to check in.
Lady- Name Please?
Topanga- The name is Mathews
Lady- Um I dont see any reservations for Mathews.
Topanga- Maybe I said Lawerence?
Lady- No, I'm sorry nothing

Topanga (adressing Cory Shawn and Eric)- Guys we have no place to stay tonight!
Cory- I thought you made reservations before we left?
Topanga- I did but I dont know
Shawn- Well I'm used to this so (takes out pillow and lies down on the floor)
Eric- Hey Cor?
Cory- Yeah
Eric- If Mr. Feeny were here he'd know what to do.
Cory- But hes not here thats the thing!
Eric- If I have to sleep outside im sharing a sleeping bag with your wife!
Cory- Hey Eric, why dont you try to do somthing for yourself for once?
Topanga- Both of you shut up! Eric go over to the souvenier stand while I talk to Cory (to cory)- Okay we can't get an apartment this late at night, and the hotel is booked now we have to stay outs...
Voice- You can all stay with me
Shawn- Jack!?!
Jack- Shawn?
Shawn- I thought you would be half way to Zimbabwe by now!
Jack- Well our plane stopped in NY to get ready to go over the ocean and Rachel saw her old boyfriend, so instead of going by myself I called my step-dad to ask him what I should do.
(Eric Walks Back to the group with a statue of liberty hat thing on)
Eric- Alright guys I have an Idea. We could dress up as cats and sleep on the stage on Broadway.
Jack- One day away from him and he gets stupider.
Eric- JACK!!! Hey buddy, did you already bring peace to the world?
Jack- Shut up...anyway I talked to my dad and...hes gunna give me the money I need to live on and start my own buisness!
Topanga- Congratulations
Shawn- Jack heres lesson #1. No matter what you do, dont go into any buisness that dad was in!
Jack- Why would I want to start a Plastic Sheep decoration buisness?
Shawn- Hey that was my Idea!
Jack- Alright i have a room rented here for 3 days so we can all get ourselve on our feet.

Commercial

(Into huge fancy hotel room where Cory and Topanga are in one bed and Eric is in the other)

Cory- We finally made it here.
Topanga- And I still love you
(They kiss)
Eric- HEY IM TRYING TO SLEEP OVER HERE!!

(Jack and Shawns room)
Jack-This is pretty nice huh?
Shawn- Jack, when you first came here I didnt like you. I hated you. but now...(Jacks cell phone rings)
(Screen splits, we see Rachel on the Phone)
Rachel: Jack I'm soo sorry I left you but now I'm here in Boston and I'm moving out to L.A. tomarrow with my ex-boyfriend.
Jack: Well I'm very happy for you
Rachel: Jack I know you liked me since the day I moved in but, we tried that! It didn't work. Now you need to move on!
Jack: Rachel I love you
Rachel: What? (boyfriend comes over and shuts off the phone)
Jack (to Shawn) Shes gone man!
Shawn: Thanks Jack

(Open up to Cory and Topanga getting dressed)
Cory: I really wish that you wouldnt go to work today
Topanga: Its my first day on the Job I've Gotta be there!
Cory: Tell them your travel arrangements got messed up or something
Topanga: I cant do that Cory!
Cory: We've gotta lot of things to do! We need to find a place to live We need to get around the city!
Topanga: WE NEED MONEY!
Cory: Please honey just take the day off

Topanga adressing all besides Jack- We have about $2500 for the first month and thats only if one of you gets a job. So we are going to have to get a small apartment for now.
Jack- Wait, aren't we all going to live together?
Cory- Well, we thought you wanted your own house?
Jack- No thats why I found out from your parents where you were staying after Rachel left me at the Airport.
Eric- Dun Dun Dun Dun
Jack- Not this again
Eric- DUN DUN
Jack- You Idiot SHUT-UP!
Eric- No really! I'm done with breakfast.(shows clean plate)
Topanga- (Takes Erics plate) Alright well if we live with you, but we will pay you back as soon as we get the money.
Jack- No you wont
Topanga- We insist.
Jack- How about when my buisness starts Eric and Shawn will work with me to pay it off?
Topanga- Well atleast some of us will have a jobs (looks to cory)
Cory- (holding the news paper) Hey I'm looking at job listings right now! (actually is looking at the sports page.
Shawn- Okay theres 5 houses listed here that we can move into right away.
Eric- I want an avacado fridge!
Cory- Not this again!
Jack- Well we have a limo to take us around today
Shawn- How rich is your dad!?!?
Jack-Very rich
Topanga- is that limo (CRAZY INSANE LOUD BOOM!)
All rush to the window to look outside

(commercial)

(All looking out the window as one of the twin towers burns and people panic)
Topanga: Oh My God What just happened!?!?
Cory: I dont know I saw a plane go by out the window then a few seconds later I heard the boom
Topanga: Cory Im scared this just doesnt seem right!
Jack: Guys, I dont think that was an accident.
(Shawn goes over to the T.V. and turns it on)
(They all surround the t.v. and watch the second plane fly into the 2nd tower)
Cory: Did you just see that!?!?
Shawn: Oh my god!
Topanga: (sobbing) I dont feel safe here! I knew we should have stayed in Philadelphia
Eric: You guys! All your going to do is sit here? Didn't feeny teach you anything? I'm going over there!
Cory: Eric STOP. Its dangerous over there its not safe!
Eric: Feeny always taught us to put other people before ourselves! (walks out the door)
(Everyone left is crying at the pictures on the T.v.)

(Commercial)

(Everyone is sitting on the couch and we hear the T.V. say "The towers have collapsed!")
Shawn: (Crying) Trouble just always follows me
Cory: Shawn, you know that this is not your fault!
Shawn: I know but, I feel so helpless like I could have done something
Cory: You couldn't have done anything
Jack: Yeah man, I wish I could have done something about it too
Cory: You couldn't have saved any of those lives everyone knows that
Topanga: But you did
Cory: How?
Topanga: The lawyer firm is inside World Trade Center tower 1 (really starts bawling)
Cory: Oh my god I didnt realize that! Oh I'm so glad you stayed home today. (crying and holding topanga)
Jack: Its alright...atleast everyone is safe.
Shawn: NO THEY AREN'T ERIC WENT DOWN THERE EARLIER REMEMBER!?!?
Cory: He wouldn't have gone in would he?
(Jack looks at them as if to say yes)
(All look really scared as we hear the T.v. say "One flight from Boston to L.A. Hit the north tower")
Shawn: There won't be any survivors.
Jack: RACHEL! Damnit! She told me last night she was in Boston going to L.A.
(T.V.- Many pedestrians ran into the building as the towers smoked)
All look at eachother and run to the door.

We open up and we get a review of the last show

(Open)

Cast is in the hotel again...
(Jack is on the phone)
Jack: Rachel its me again....please call me back! I need to know your safe
Shawn: Jack will you just stop worrying? Your Jack! Everything is going to be alright. Look I bet you your phone is going to ring any second and Rachel will be just fine.
(Cory's cell phone rings)
(Split screen we see Mr. and Mrs. Matthews.)
Alan: Cory we got your message WHERE'S ERIC?
Cory: When the second plane flew in he did what Mr. Feeny taught him to...he helped out other people
Amy (sobbing): Why didnt you stop him?
Cory: I really couldn't he..
Alan: Did you go look for him?
Cory: We tried but we couldnt get anywhere near
Amy: Were coming to New York right now!
Cory: You can but you can't get a flight in.
Alan: No were staying here with Morgan and Josh...dont worry I'm sure Eric is just helping out the rescue or something...
Cory: Yeah I dont know guys I'm going to go over there and look for him again.
Amy: Alright if you hear anything CALL US RIGHT AWAY.
Cory: I will and mom, I love you
Amy: I love you to Cor
Cory: Yeah I know we always say that but....I mean it now
Alan: Cory be careful.
Cory: Alright I will bye

(Commercial)

(Jack and Shawn are on the couch)
T.v.: We are now listing the passangers of the flight from Boston to L.A.
Jack: Rachel McGuire
Shawn: I'm so sorry man. You know maybe she could have gotten out or maybe she missed the flight or...
Jack: No Shawn shes dead! Damnit Shawn she was the girl for me its not fair!
Shawn: I know how you feel man
Jack: NO YOU DON'T!
Shawn: I dont know how you feel? Ha! The lady I thought was my mom left when i was 12! My dad wasn't around for my entire child hood. Then when I was finally getting close to him he died! Then I found out Verna wasnt my real mom and now the only person I ever loved is thousands of miles away during the scariest moments of my life. Yeah Jack I DO know how you feel.
Jack: (crying) Im sorry man I just cant belive this all its just so confused. I just need some time to myself.
Shawn: Alright man just know I'm here for you.
(shawn stands there with a tear in his eye looks up to the ceiling and says "WHY god why?")

(Commercial)

(We come back and its a run down ghetto looking place a dirty)
Cory (to random person) Have you seen this man (points to a picture of eric)
Topanga does the same
Then Both do the same to 2 more people.
Topanga: Cory I'm scared NO One has seen Eric
Cory: I know I know. Lets go to the hospital and see if hes been checked it there.

(Hospital waiting room)

Cory (to receptionist) Has an Eric Matthews neen checked in here?
Receptionist: No hes not on the list but, there are a lot of un named people. Do you have a picture of him?
Cory: Here
Receptionist: Ohhh hes in room 383 up on the third
Cory: Are you sure?
Receptionist: Yeah hes in pretty bad shape though are you ready to see him?
Cory (looks at Topanga) Yeah we are.

(Commercial)
(back to Jacks room. He is crying on the side of the bed)
Jack: God, why did you have to take her away from me. Its not fair! Why?
(Rachel's ghost appears behind him)
Rachel: Oh Jack I'm so sorry I did this to you!
Jack (cant see Rachel) You know I loved her more than anyone in the world. She even had me giving up money to go help the world she was...perfect for me.
Rachel: Jack I just wish that you knew how I felt...(ghosts disappears)
(Jacks cell phone rings)
Jack: 1 voice message...
Cell You have 1 un heard message...first message sent Today at 8:57 A.M.
Rachel's Voice- Jack it's me Rachel, our plane got hi-jacked and they are going to kill all of us...(sobbing) I just want to let you know that I wish I never left you in New York...I wish we would have never broke up because..I..I..I Love you (screaming)
Cell Phone: End of message...to erase this message press 7 to save it press 9
Jack: 9 (turns off lamp and puts head on pillow)

Cory and Topanga are standing outside room 383
Cory looks at Topanga puts his arm around her...Takes a deep breath and grabs the door knob.....
