They're $800.00 American and the product was on TechTV!
Not only can you save seasons of TV shows on the TiVO hard drive, but you can
burn every episode, commercials edited, to... DVD!
That's the best invention EVER! I wish I had $800.00 right now.

Imagine not having to set up a VCR to tape 'Wings' at 3:00 in the morning and have every season on one DVD-R!

I read in some of the home theater forums that there is concern about the Pioneer TIVO/DVD burner not allowing you to remove commercials before burning a TV show to DVD. So, buyer beware.

I have the Panasonic DMR-E100 and love it. It doesn't have TIVO, but record my shows on my Dish Network PVR and copy them over to the Panasonic unit's hard drive, zap the commercial, and burn a DVD.

Well, I think they're also still developing it.
It's probibly a 1.0 .

Also, to my glaring error, you can't fit a whole series to DVD-R

Only a season.
I don't even HAVE a burner and I should know that!
