ok here's the story, it maybe boring at first but it's REALLY interesting!!

When I was really little (like 2 or 3) my mom had taped the movies Annie and Mary Poppins off of the tv so that i could watch them as i was getting older and stuff... well I came across the tape and im liek OMG! i have not watched this tape in like 10 years! actually it's probably been like 5 or so I was about 9 when i stoped watching it every weekend!! LoL! Anyways!!! I was watching it and the 2 movies were taped off of NBC... and we all know that Facts of Life aired on NBC right?? RIGHT!!! and there was an interesting commercial for the last episode of the facts of life... Begining of the End and Beginging of the Beginging... and here's how it went to te best i can describe it....

A little Key for you:
A- Announcer
(clip)
A2- 2nd announcer

A: Remember the sweet little girls??
(Mrs. G telling the girls what they were gonna have to do after they came home from jail in New Girl Part 2)
A2: Sweet?!?!?!
(Blair smiling sweetly in mirror in Emily Dickensen)
A: Well they graduated didn't they?
(Blair and Jo right before they went into auditorium in Graduation Part 2)
A2: Barely!!!
(Blair and Jo arguing with Nat and Tootie in Graduation Part 1)
A: And Mrs. Garrett's successful shop!!
(Mrs. Garrett and the girls cleaning up the shop in Brave New World Part 2)
A2: Yea! That burned down!!
(Mrs. Garrett and the girls standing in the burned down shop in Out of the Fire)
A: Well at least they had Mrs. Garrett!!
(Mrs. G hugging Jo and Blair in Graduation Part 2)
A2: Danny!! She left them cold turkey!!
(Mrs. G and Bruce and all the girls, plus Beverly Ann in Mrs. Garrett's wedding)
A: OK!! So the Facts of Life weren't PERFECT!!!

A2: You can say that again!!
(Tootie on rollerskates in Emily Dickenson)
A: Well the final episode is comming up!
(Blair in her shocked look in Double Standard)
A2: But don't worry! We can take the good
(Tootie excited to get drivers license in Tootie Drives)
A: And take the bad!
(Natalie crying in Fear Strikes Back)
A2: And watch the final episodes of the Facts of Life
(Picture of beverly ann and the girls at the end of Begingign of the Begingign)
A: Saturday April 30th at 8:00/7 Central... only here on NBC
(Jo says... "What a bumma" --and i have no idea what episode this was from--)

Isn't that a weird commercial? it was really long and weird.. and you couldnt' see the ACTUAL announcer... the clips showed up ast hey were saying them... but it was SOOO cool.. I started freeking out!! haha..!! I thought it was the coolest thing!!

thats so cool..i'm gonna check all my old tapes for clips now...anyway..when Jo says "What a bumma" I think thats from "A Baby in the House" Or something. when Jo says "What a bumma..you got to sleep, you got a mother. You wake up and your on your own" Maybe not...i'm not sure.

That's so cool! I have a tape that my parents recorded when the Wizard of Oz was on tv in like 1987. Only problem was that it was on CBS not NBC so I have a few comercials myself but the only one I remember is of the show Kate and Allie or sumthin.

yea.. on that tape i have some christmas stuff that was taped off of CBS as well and it had a commercial for an episode of a I Love Lucy episode for christmas and it was said to not have been seen over years.. and i don't remember if it was on the CBS or NBC portion that had an alf commercial and major dad commercial!! haha.. i thought that was sooo awsome!!
