Cool More recent episodes N@N has shown...

I see they're on Season 6 now. I've been taping it all week, but I haven't been able to watch because my uncle died a few days ago

I love Joe's wedding proposal to Helen. Always brings tears to my eyes. And I did watch the one with Helen's mother. Brian and Lowell's food fight was hysterical!

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, Snoopy....

There are some real GEMS in this 6th season! I FINALLY got to see the Christmas episode (about Bob's jelly donut)....what a hoot THAT one is!

Some familiar character actor faces were in that one too...and it was nice to see a grown-up Cathy Silvers (remember when she and Crystal were teenaged buddies on "Happy Days"?).

I LOVED the finish when Joe goes through every "Wings" regular, and tells Bob why THEY'RE more pathetic than Bob is! The look of silent anger that the regulars give Joe is hilarious!

I've been reading about that Christmas episode on this board for months, but I didn't realize how laugh-out-loud FUNNY it was!

I'm getting a bit sick of Sandy Cooper.
They've shown all of the Sandy episodes in less then a month.
What I don't understand is that while she was on the island, Joe didn't have a camcorder with him.
If people didn't believe the wedding...
All he needed to do was take part of that pillar cake and smash it in her face or save the evidence (like the Sandy & Joe banner).

Aw, don't get me started on those "Sandy Cooper" episodes, Ange!

I thought that the first one (about the "Prom" in Sandy's basement) was fresh, funny and an original idea....but the NEXT one (about the "Wedding") seemed like a tired rehash of the previous Sandy appearance...nothing really new, just more of the same....and not NEARLY as funny the second time around!

I haven't seen Sandy's third appearance yet, but I've never heard or read anyone raving about how good it is, so I'm assuming that it's another "ho-hum" rehash episode.

I'm afraid that Sandy Cooper was one of those "One-Term" characters who emptied her bag of tricks during her first appearance.....anything after that was overkill.

I don't understand why her plot never had a resolution.

Later that afternoon:
...I'm back to finish this post.

Anyway, I don't understand why Sandy Cooper's plot never had a resolution.
Even Carlton's story had an ending.
Sandy should have at least been caught and been put into an institution.

Thanks, Pilotguy and Krista

Insanity Claus is one of my favorites too, even though poor Antonio almost got killed. I love the scene when he and Bob are in the tower and Lowell tries to rescue him Also, his line "She's LYING! I'm clumsy, I'm inexperienced, I don't even know where everything is!"

I'm sick of Sandy Cooper too. The first time, I found her pretty funny, but the second and third time, I found her really annoying.

The second Sandy Cooper episode was funny, I thought. Well, It wasn't completely funny all around, but I thought Sandy was funnier in that one- she was more crazy, and she made me laugh out loud a few times. hahaha.

Ditto. It had some great moments like when Brian calls Sandy a loser, or when Sandy over rules Joe's objection to their marriage.

Hmmm...Obviously there are several "Wings" fans who feel differently than I do about Sandy Cooper's repeat appearances.

I guess what killed the second appearance for me was the absence of SURPRISE.....When I watched the first appearance, I really believed that Joe had been off-base. Sandy seemed like a nice, sensible lady...I didn't even think twice when she asked Joe to lift that heavy box of law books off of the porch and into the house! My naive "trust" of Sandy is what made the "Prom In The Basement" setup a complete and bizarre shock!

When I watched Sandy's second appearance, I knew from Scene #1 that Sandy was a total nut-case who was capable of anything, and that her "normal" act was just that...an ACT!

This lack of surprise made Sandy's second appearance far less enjoyable for me...but that's just ME!

I agree Pilotguy. I liked the first Sandy episode, but after that it was just like rehashing the first idea over again, a repackaging of sorts.

It's obvious that she has a borderline personality disorder and a stalking disorder. She can turn it on and off. It's usually triggered by the sight of Joe.

It's her actions that make me guilty of my own obsessions and I just want to be NORMAL!
I'm terrified of being in trouble with the law.
