Question I need advice!

Ok, I was talking to my best friend on the phone yesterday, and her line clicked. She clicked over and accidentally clicked me in (she has 3 way calling). She didn't know I was on the phone because I was nosey and didn't say anything. It was her 2 other friends on the phone. She talked to them for about 30 seconds then told them to hold on so she clicked back over. Something went wrong with the phone and she hung up on me by accident. Anyway, when I called her back, her little sister picked up and told me that the person on the other line was for her mom, and she would call me back (which was a lie, so i figured she told her sister to say that). I was confused, and thought she was blowing me off so she could talk to her other friends...I take lying very seriously, so I was mad at her the whole day. When she calls me back, I want to confront her, but I want to catch her in the lie first. When she calls, what should I say? I don't want to jump to conclusions and look stupid...

I think you are taking this way to seriously. It could have been that your friend hung up on her friends and then one of her mom's friends called. If it is what you think I really don't think you should take it that personally, she could have had her reasons. If she is blowing you off, what kind of friend is that anyways?

confronting her is okay, but wait until you find out what exactly happend cuz she could get mad at you for yelling at her for something that never happened..

it is possible that could happen, but i am just curious as to what really happend, but i don't know how to find out. when she calls, i dont wanna make myself sound too obvious, so im trying to find a sneaky way of asking her so she wont get mad at me for accusing her of lying to me.

Just bring it up as a joke..."For your mom, huh?" and just laugh it off. Maybe she just wanted to go do something else, or not talk to you anymore and didnt want to hurt your feelings.
