Has anybody noticed how Ned always wears an aqua-colored sweatband under his watch? Sometimes when he's shirtless or has his sleeves rolled up, you can clearly see the band worn with or without his watch.
I wonder if there's a significance to it, maybe Thomas Haden Church used it as a 'trademark'?

Kinda like PJ Soles did with the red baseball cap she wore in the movie, Carrie. It was hers and the director liked it, so he asked that she bring it back and wear it throughout the movie. Would be something if it was his trademark.
