Default Season 2 Set Thoughts

Anyone have any comments on The Jeffersons' Second Season of episodes? - now on DVD!!

Lots of great ones during this season, but I still like the first season the best with Weezie hairstyle and maid looking outfits.

One thing I DID notice is how Weezie (and George as well) changed in look halfway through this season. In the beginning of the Season, her hair looks middleclass as well as her clothes and she isn't wearing too much jewerly. By mid-season, her hair gets more "fancy" and she starts wearing more "uptown" clothes and jewerly Also notice Geroge's hair in the beginning of this Season has more of an "afro" with a little gray on the sides. By mid-season, his hair is cropped down and there is not as much gray on the sides of his afro.

Excellent season though. Favorites: Dinner With Harry (watch George's moves with Helen), Movin' On Down (love that card trick - pick a pair...any pair on the table), George Meets Whittendale. (dig Georges suit and him getting stuck in the bathroom with the Wilises)

I prefer the First Season DVD compared to the Second Season DVD; even my dad loved watching the first DVD and he is not fond of old sitcoms

At first they had to age George because he is younger than Louise. But after they went uptown I guess they dressed them up to fit the setting, which is o.k.

I know. He looked 55 on All in the Family and 43 when the Jeffersons ended in 1985.

I didn't know the age difference was that great! When you add it up she was old enough to be Sherman's mother!!

I didn't know the age diiference was that great between Florida and James either!!! That would explain why they dusted his hair with all that gray.

He was just like George. James was more gray in the beginning of Good Times and as the show went on, the grayness in his hair gradually disappeared
