The Super Bowl of "Survivor" is, appropriately, set to debut after the
Super Bowl. CBS announced Monday (Nov. 17) that "Survivor: All-Stars," which will bring back some of the game's most memorable players, will premiere following Super Bowl XXXVIII on Sunday, Feb. 1. The network is hoping for the same kind of success in launching "All-Stars" that it had with "Survivor: The Australian Outback" following the 2001 Super Bowl. More than 45 million people watched the premiere of "Outback" on Jan. 28, 2001, despite a fairly boring blowout in the Super Bowl that year. CBS is holding back on announcing the "All-Stars" players, but several fan sites for the show have reported that past winners Richard Hatch, Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca will be back, along with other breakout players like Rudy Bosch and Susan Hawk (the original), Jerri Manthey ("Outback"), Rob Cesternino ("The Amazon") and current favorite Rupert Boneham. Eighteen players will take part in "All-Stars" -- two more than the usual 16. The prize money, $1 million, is the same as in previous editions of the game. |

Yeah he wasn't on the Early Show today and it was rumored it's because he is on location filming the Superstar (or whatever it's called) Survivor.
Good for him. Burton and that little jerkwad Jon can kiss his pirate butt. |

I read in an article of TV Guide a few months ago that the prize money for Survivor All Stars would be doubled to $2 million. |

Although I agree with trying to get rid of him the game will not be as fun without him.

The prize money is NOT being doubled, and the players mentioned are DEFINITELY in the All-Star version.

is Lil acting or is she really about as bright as a 10 year old? When the show started she seemed about as smart as the next person but it seems she is getting slower as the show goes on. Perhaps a lack of nutrients for her brain.
