Default The Biggest Three"s Company Blooper Of All Time Was.......

Cindy never never never ever ever talking to HER COUSIN CHRISSY ON THE PHONE like Janet and Jack did. Chrissy could hae asked her how she likes living with Jack and Janet. So that I would say is the only major GOOF on Three's Company

Besides, that's not even a blooper...bloopers are unedited mistakes that happened on a show or movie or something...

I think he means blunder.
But techinically it wasn't a blunder either.

There was no reason for them to have to talk on camera except to make people in the audience feel better.
"Aw, no! Why doesn't she talk to Chrissy, now I don't know how Chrissy feels about this."
It has nothing to do with the show.

There is no continuity or story inconsistency.

You are right, i meant to say blunder. But there was a reason for them to talk because they were relatives.

i think it was just because at that time, suzanne had just been replaced, and things were probably tense on the set to begin with. i think they didnt have them talk because they didnt want to stir anything (else) up. If you were replaced on a show, the last thing youd want to do is have a scene with your replacement, even if it isnt face to face!

I'm not sure this would have been much of an issue though, since Suzanne did her phone scenes with either a producer on the other end or she talked to a dead phone. The castmates on the other end were not on the phone at the same time that she recorded the scenes.

Methinks it was that the producers had known that Suzanne was done with the show by then and that the best way to forge ahead without her was to try to distract the audience with comedy and storylines that had nothing to do with her, which would be hard to do if she was mentioned every 10 minutes.

It's too bad. The show lost something when it lost Suzanne, or rather Chrissy. What's more tragic is that the situation could've been avoided. She was willing to come back and forget about her $$ demands, but by then they were too POed at her. They wanted their retribution and were willing to endanger the show to get it. If you ask me, the producers were just as callous in endangering the show and the other castmates' livelihood as Suzanne was. She was willing to make up and return to the show, but they wanted her to suffer. On both ends, neither side was thinking about what was best for the show...

Even if Cindy and Chrissy didn't have a phone scene, when Chrissy would talk to Janet on the phone I just wish she could have said-HOW IS CINDY DOING?
