Default Family Guy Coming back to FOX??!!

Saw over on tvguide.com today that 35 new episodes of Family Guy may be requested by Fox. Strong DVD sales and Cartoon Networks ratings for the shows reruns may be the reason FOX is considering bringing Family Guy back after it was cancelled 18 months ago.

I hope they pick up the series again . This is such a terrific show and also really popular over here in Britain. The UK DVD sales were also brilliant aswell as the American ones.
Come on FOX!!!!! Start showing it again!

That would be great! One of my favorite animated series of all time. Fox was stupid to cancel it in the first place!

EDIT: I noticed I said practically the same thing M82A1 said, well, there's atleast one thing we agree on.

You are right, it might come back on 2005. Check on tvtome.com for latest news

I don't want it to come back, even though I love the show. Barely any shows that come back from cancellelation survive, and they usually have lost the charm they once had. Plus, the staff working on the show will be completly different, and the show won't be the same at all.

I'm willing to take that chance.

It will be mostly the same staff. Besides, Family Guy's writing team was completely overhauled between the second and third season, and the show still remained great.

Has everyone heard the news that MacFarlane has confirmed that production has started on a new season's worth of episodes?

The only question is where the show is going to land... Fox, Cartoon Network, DVD... It isn't known yet. But new episodes are on the way.

Oh, and no show has came back from cancellation before. Near cancellation, yes. But no show has been off the air for 2 years and came back.
