Goonies Sequel - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Over the past few weeks aintitcool.com has been covering the Goonies Sequel news- The Groonies. I think a Goonies Sequel could succeed- if done tastefully and with some respect from the original- but after eading a little bit about this- I think it's gonna stink if it gets the green light (which it probably will- cos Spielbergs gonna direct). What do you all think?

It has been about eighteen years since the first one was out in 1985!!
