Probably Sue Ann. That was my fav and I think they done good by getting rid of the ones they did. Jo was my fav character of all time and still is!!
It was a good idea to concentrate on Blair, Tootie, Natlie, and to bring in Jo.

But, if Nancy stayed on the show, we could have seen Roger, and how she got pregnant with him at Eastland! I bet that Roger would end up being some really short, fat guy.

I loved Tootie in the first season, and I thought it was funny how Blair was so stuck up and sort of a ditz.

I think they should have kept Nancy, her character really did improve as the seasons went on, although she was rarely there. No one ever got to see her talent, though, because she was always on the phone with Roger.

Cindy was interesting, but that would've
made 2 tomboys once Jo arrived, which
I guess wouldn't have worked. Jo was always
my favorite.

Does growing up have to mean wussing out ?

By the way, Sue Ann certainly was the
whipping post of the first season girls--
starving herself because she thought and
was told she was fat (puhlease), the lowest
IQ score, losing her "jock" status to
newcomer Cindy...am I missing anything?

Molly!!!! She was awesome I can't believe that she was dropped. But Jo makes the whole show come together and it wouldn't of been the same if they kept Molly.

None of them. I think that Jo, Blair, Natalie and Tootie were the perfect set of 4 to focus on.

They should of just kept the fired first season girls as recurring characters and they could of been used about as much as cousin geri! After all they were still students at eastland and it would of been cool if they did a little chill like episode before they all graduated eastland with them having a slumber party in the room above the kitchen where they all treat jo like the outsider and mrs.garret would be nearby, with all the girls including jo forming strong bonds before they graduate! That would of been better than trying to pretend the other girls never met jo in 86, even though the actors new better! I also would of liked to see nancy get her own spotlight episode where we finally get to see roger(where scott baio could make a special guest appearance)
