Did your parents let you have it when you were little? I know mine sure did! Hand or belt, but only after repeated warnings & I definitely had it coming.
My guess is more older people will say they did than younger ones.

Of course it was always funny as hell when it happened to your little brother or a neighbor!...funny til *you* got it!

There was this one time me & my best friend next door neighbor saw this kid (accidentally) break a window (or a bottle. Don't remember now) And JUST for sake of seeing this kid get whacked, we went in our building & rang nearly every doorbell just to tell on him. We lost track of time & didn't realize it was well after dark & our parents were worried. We got back on the elevator & awww sh*t! BOTH our moms were in it looking for us!

So what'd we *both* get when we got home?

I got spanked once when I was 3 or 4, and never again. I wasn't even "hit". I was tapped on the butt, just enough to make me stop being a brat.

My sister, on the other hand..... Holy Jesus. She was a devil..

I used to get spanked all the time. I was a bad girl.

Once when I was little they held me down and washed my mouth out with soap. It was horrible! And to this day my dad wonders why I hate him. He also even choked me once. I might have deserved to be spanked, but choking me was stepping out of line. Can't say too much for the soap thing though that only happened once and it was when I was very small so I barely even remember it.

I was always in trouble,sometimes for no reason,and when I got in trouble,they hit me with whatever was in their hands,but though my dad left years ago he only hit me when he was drunk.

Umm...I guess I few times I don't really remember. More yelling that getting hit. My dad has the biggest mouth, I swear, and for a little kid it's scary as hell

My dad used to beat me with a hairbrush. he's also slapped me and a few months ago when i was sitting on the floor he grabbed my face and slammed it on a metal bed frame like 3 times.

Yeah my dad pushed my mom on the ground and choked her one time. they were having problems with eachother at the time and my mom had depression but thats just wrong. hes an *******. i remember after that my mom took me and my brother to a safehouse with her and we lived there for about a week. hell i actually enjoyed it there, partially cause there was no screaming and fighting.

Same here...still. My dad likes to do that to My mom, and my sister and me...but especially me because I'm more like my mom. Makes me feel like ****, but you get used to it and it doesn't bother you as much...I know he doesn't mean it, but still...

That's awful. My mom once told me that before my brother and I were born my dad used to hit her a lot. I always wondered why she'd never file for divorce. I know now why she hasn't and I really can't say it here on the boards. Plus, my dad is the jealous type of guy. He has to know where you are and what you're doing every minute of the day. If he calls and you don't pick up he thinks my mom is out screwing another guy, which she isn't. I swear my dad is such a *****. He has to know where I am every minute of everyday too and I'm 19 years old. How freakin' sad is that?

My dad is always yelling at my mom over something. Whether it be about the bills or about how none of us derserve anything or we're no good, blah, blah, blah. Just this morning I woke up around 8 and heard him going on about the bills to my mom. I really think she should just hire a hitman or something. Anything is better than listen to this crap 24/7.

Oh, and he's allowed to mourn his mother in this house and whine about how she's dead and all, but my mom isn't allowed to show sympathy or feel hurt because her mom is dead now too. And her mom died a couple months before his mom did! She's also not allowed to bring stuff from her mom's house over to here like my dad has been doing with his mom's crap. I swear our house is becoming a junk pile with all her crap. I think I need to get myself some self-esteem and move the hell out.
