First fol episode seen by me was the Diff. Strokes spin off. I saw this during its initial broadcast. Like many pilots, the first episode seemed unfocused with too much going on at once. At the time, I though Charlotte Rae had made a bad career move. Recall the Blair Warner character (during her Lolita phase) snootily smoking a cigarette behind some furniture as a perturbed Mrs. Garrett discovers her. Mrs. Garrett comments to the effect that it seems Eastland has no rules.

I am not sure, but I think my first episode was either 'Teenage Marrige 2' or 'Emily Dickinson'. I THINK it was 'Emily Dickinson', so probably that. But if it is then 'Teenage Marrige' would have to be the second one I saw..

My first was "The New Girl" for N@n. I was supposed to be studying for a history test (and my parents were out so they couldn't tell me to stop watching TV) but the minute Jo came in I was totally hooked and couldn't stop watching despite the test the next day. Still got an A on it though!!

My first full episode was "Concentration." My sister told me that she had watched FOL at college before and it was good. So we watched it together. We ended up bawling at the parts where the Holocaust survivor told Blair to be nice to her little sister and everything. From then on I was hooked. I did see a part of FOL once before that. It was the 2nd episode and I was like "What the heck is this?" and I switched the channel

It was a first season episode during the first night of the marathon on Nick at Nite, last September. In fact, I think it was the first episode.

It was the cuteness of Blair, and the midgetry of Gary Coleman which sucked me in.

The first one I saw was during the "Unhiden Mystery's" marathon in September. "Rough Housing".

I don't remember what I initially thought...i liked the show but wasn't really hooked until seasons 8 and 9 were shown
