we can start with the stuf they are talkin about.... i just watched 87, 88, 89 last night.... WOW

i dont remember the Fat Boyz being THAT BIG

i was in Calgary right before the 88 Olymics, when the Jamaican Bobsled team made their debut - it was such a touching story - everyone wanted them to win, and every time they interviewed them you couldn't help but fall in love with those guys; they really thought that they COULD win!!!
i also remember "eddie the eagle" some independent guy who was trying to get into the ski-jump event, but he was a complete amateur, with no support from any country, and appearently, NO TALENT as a ski-jumper

Yeah, the 80's are to start with.

MTV, I remember the first time I watched that channel. My friends and I were in the livingroom trying to something on TV and we found it. We were hooked.

I can remember us actually going outside.

Yeah, we got on our bikes and rode to the corner store
to replenish our junkfood supply.

Fortunately, we made back in time to watch Huey Lewis and the News.

I never could understand the big deal with Ferris Bueller's day off - i mean everyone was talking about it, i recently watched it as part of a marathon weekend where one channel showed it back-to-back for 24 hours; i mean I thought it was a pretty good movie, but why'd everyone go nutso?

And of course they made a tv series out of it - :thumbs down:

I remember skipping school so I could stay home to watch the opening video

and i was a NERD

when i listen to Huey Lewis now, i just dont understand how it got so big; it seemed so cool back then, now i notice that some of the songs are kinda... well... Lewpy.

...remember when Huey sued Ray Parker over the Ghostbusters' theme song?

Yeah, it's weird, I worked out a plan with my friend Jennifer.
anytime, Huey Lewis came on, I'd call her and she came running over. We were crazy for him for awhile back then.

Looking back on it, I don't get it.

Yeah, I think I remember that. Huey's a dork.

My niece used to think the the band name was "Huey Lewis on the News."

It was an okay movie. I didn't get why people went crazy for it either. They never shoulda made a tv show out of it.

Rockwell's "Somebody's Watching Me" I loved that video and the song. I had no idea at the time that Michael Jackson was singing backup. I kinda found that odd though. Here he is this big deal in 84 and he's singing backup for a new guy.

This song was kickin...Just makes me wanna moonwalk.
