Default "Twisted Sister"

The other night NICK ran the "Twisted Sister" episode, which introduced the character of Casey. This was the first time I had ever seen this one, and it was HILARIOUS!

Casey was such an annoying witch, but you just KNEW that she would be a character that the show's writers could develop some interesting stories for.

My favorite parts were Antonio getting all tongue-tied whenever he saw Casey, and when Joe kept insisting that Casey used to have a southern accent:

Joe: "You had an accent"

Casey: "No, I never had an accent"

Joe: "Yes you did, you had an accent"

Casey: "I NEVER had an accent"

Joe: "Yes, you had an...."

Casey (shouting): "OK, OK, let's just DROP it, OK?"

Then after a long, awkward, silent pause, Fay (who was staring at Casey after that outburst) turned to Helen and sweetly said (with that famous frozen smile of Fay's), "She's lovely!".

Oh yeah, some "Wings" fans can't stand Casey, but she brought some FUNNY stuff to that show!

Casey: ...I found this lovely little French place called BeVoes!
Helen: There's no place like that on the island.
Lowell: Waitaminute, you don't mean BeVoes, you mean my cousin Beevo!

You know, THAT'S a combination opportunity that "Wings" really didn't take full advantage of....conversations between Casey and Lowell!

Lowell could have come up with these BIZARRE things to say and Casey (especially the early, "snooty" Casey) could have looked around the room with that funny "Did he just say what I THOUGHT he said? Is this person for REAL? Is EVERYONE here for real? What am I DOING here with these people?" look on her face!

Actually, I would have liked to have actually SEEN Beevo, not just the little glipse of he and Lowell working on the pillow .
He sounds as if he'd be a mutant or something, what with all the thumbs and stuff.

I haven't seen the "Twisted Sister" episode yet because I forgot to set up my VCR! I was so mad because I remembered all day, and then I forgot to set it up before i went to bed! I should have set it up in the morning the first time I remembered. lol
But I'll see it soon because my buddy losthighway is sending me a copy.

I love the part where Helen returns the ring with the huge diamond to Casey and tells her that she loves Joe's ring even though the diamond on it is really small. Then, Casey says something like, "It could be your very own Hope diamond. You could hold it up and hope that people could see it." Hehe.

LOL @ Antonio's reaction to meeting Casey for the first time.

Of course, this is where I voice my opinion (sorry, had to do it).
For once on television, I wish a woman wouldn't go gaga over a stupid diamond ring. Instead of a diamond engagement ring, how about a different stone, like an emerald, a sapphire, aquamarine, ect. ?
BTW, I'm not fond of diamonds. I think they're overpriced crystals
