Cool

Never had just ripple by itself. I have had ripple mixed with champagne, or as Fred would call it - "Champipple"

I had some Ripple last week, but it had gone flat. I called it "Flapple".

Default Speaking of alcohol...

When Donna's patient, Mr. Wilcox, comments that white wine should be drunk while young, Fred's response is great:

"Yeah - I was drunk when I was young..."

I've tried all those- plus you can't forget Mad Dog.

I remember during rush week in college one fraternity had Night Train night. Pretty harsh.

So would Ripple and King Kobra mixed together be "King Kripple"?

Default Aww man yall goin back......

Thunderbird and Wild Irish Rose used to be my favorite. I'm not an old man but I'm no spring chicken either so for everybody here thats in their 30's and 40's, I can have my back in the day stories too. LOL . Every now and then I have flashbacks and buy a bottle of thunderbird and a pack or two of kool aid. I've never seen ripple in real life though. I thought it was just made up for the show. I'm going to try to find some.

Sorry but you are too late. It was produced my Ernest and Julio Gallo and is no longer in production as they decided to produce more upscale wines.

E & J Gallo Winery
[GA-loh]
Company that was started in 1933 by brothers Ernest and Julio Gallo and has grown to become the world's largest wine producer. The brothers began with a borrowed $500 just as prohibition was ending. Today, E & J Gallo Winery sells close to 75 million cases of wine each year. The company is so large that it makes its own bottles, caps, and closures. Gallo, the largest purchaser of grapes in the north coast ava, owns over 4,000 acres of vineyards, including about 2,000 in sonoma county. This company's long been known as a producer of generic wines, such as Hearty Burgundy and Chablis Blanc under the Gallo label. What many don't realize, however, is that this gigantic conglomerate also produces myriad other potables including: jug wines under the Carlo Rossi label; sparkling wines under the labels of Andre and Tott's; fortified wines from Livingston Cellars; E&J Brandy; wine coolers under the Bartles & Jaymes and Boone's Farm brands; the infamous Ripple ; and the high-alcohol Thunderbird. Although the bulk of their wines are still generic, Gallo began a series of moves to upgrade their image, starting with the release of its first cork-closure wines. In 1983 Gallo released its first vintage wine, a 1978 cabernet sauvignon. In 1993 they released their Northern Sonoma Estate Bottled Cabernet Sauvignon and chardonnay from their sonoma holdings. The 1991 Chardonnay is made from grapes grown on Gallo's 400-acre Laguna Ranch vineyard in the russian river ava, and the 1990 Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes grown on the 600-acre Frei Brothers Ranch in the dry creek valley ava. These two wines sell in the $30 to $60 range, a significant price jump for the normally price-conscious Gallo products. Huge vineyards have also been planted on other Gallo properties in northern Sonoma near the town of Asti (600 acres) and in the alexander valley (200 acres).

Have you ever tried sangria? I never have, but my parents have. They say it's not bad.
