Default Rod Roddy's Marathon and The Price is Right on GSN

Folks, do you think that GSN should do a Rod Roddy Marathon and get the rights of the The Price is Right again because of Rod's death?

I don't know any of these marathon tributes. GSN will have to find out. I've never seen "The Price Is Right" on GSN in a number of years. I usually watch that show back when I was a youngster where Rod Roddy was there on that show. GSN has "Press Your Luck" on weekends with Rod Roddy as the announcer.

GSN is currnently unable to get the rights to TPIR because it simply costs way too much money. I'm sure it will eventually make a re-appearance on GSN, just not anytime real soon

But GSN should do a 3 hours night of Rod Roddy Marathon in tribute with Press Your Luck (4 episodes) and Family Fued with Ray Combs with the week of shows from 1991 featuring The Price is Right vs. The Young and the Restless (2 episodes).

I understand that they should do a mtribute marathon using shows they already have, but they CAN'T include TPIR. They simply don't have the rights.

Randy West was the announcer on "Supermarket Sweep" that was shown weekdays on PAX. Now he took over Rod's place as the new announcer of "The Price Is Right" period.
