Default Anybody know anything more about this love traingle murder case on U.Mysteries?

It was a murder case on Unsolved Mysteries. It was about a love triangle and it took place in rural Indiana. Supposedly this gal got back together with her ex boyfriend and her new jealous boyfriend a Bangladeshi American stabbed him to death late one night when he broke into his house.

The dead man's families think the girl is not telling the whole truth and may have known about or assisted in cleaning up the crime scene because of inconsistencies in her testimonies. The investigators also believe she is not telling the whole truth.

I saw this segment a week ago. Has the Bangladeshi American suspect being arrested yet?

I remembered this case from when it aired. That was one of my favorite cases of the 92-93 season. UM reaired this case in their Lifetime-exclusive run, with only one new piece of evidence that wasn't known before: how the suspect could be in the Boston area.

I don't have closed captioning so maybe someone who does can help - what is the correct spelling of the suspect's name? Phonetically it's Mafooz Huck but Google searches have led to nowhere for me.

And did anyone else think that the victim's dad was kind of a jerk?

Looks like you misspelled it. The closed captioned function worked when the rerun was intermixed with a new segment about another fugitive (namely David Lee Kemp). The surname turned up on the closed captioned function spelled "Huq." And if I recall correctly, his first name was spelled "Mafuz."

Default Composite Sketch about victim's dad.

He might sound like a jerk the way he is throwing accusations like that around at his son's girlfriend. But than again I don't think that gal is telling the whole truth neither and she had refused to undergo a polygraph test. She is telling maybe half truths. Why would she refuse to do the lie detector test if she had nothing to hide?

There were some pretty glaring inconsistencies in her testimonies if you had watched the segment carefully.

Maybe she also did something that she doesn't want the police investigators to know about. And that she doesn't want to implicate herself by telling the whole truth.

I recall this case as well...I "think" I remember the girlfriend not appearing guilty for the murders but guilty for leading both men on, knowing how jealous her ex was. So it could be her guilt at THAT for appearing to be untruthful, etc.

No, I didn't think she was saying the whole story either but the dad was hardly grieving and that's what bugged me. He's the one that lost his flesh and blood, and yet all he seemed to care about was coercing the girlfriend. She should at least have been allowed to go to the funeral.

I wonder if they eventually did make her take a polygraph. I mean, something must have happened since the airing! So much was up in the air.
