It was also on VH1 at 11:00am Tuesday. I hate to watch the ending because the music is so sad and when Joyce DeWitt says her final piece at the end she looks like she is about to cry!!

I really like her speech on laughter being the center of the earth!

You know....I always thought that the conflict between John/Joyce and Suzanne must have been because both sides were at fault. After watching the movie, Suzanne is the only one to blame. She ruined her career and led the show to thier downfall. She was definitely not the "star" of the show. To be quite honest, I always liked to watch the show because of Janet and Jack. She just added a funny piece. Poor Joyce.....she really got the shaft and went through some hell. I feel for her, but realize that she is a better person because of the adversity.

If most of that was true, does that mean Audra Lindley wore a wig to play Mrs.Roper?

Yes she did!! Audra was a natural blonde and wore the red curly wig as Mrs. Roper.

oh i know what you mean. in the movie it also showed that the girl who played vicki was in joyce's dressing room. what i dont get is why they couldnt give her someone elses dressig room. what was so special about joyce's? the way it ended was sooooo sad. it makes me get all teary. especially when they come out to say goodbye to the audience for the last time. i think that john should have told her. or at least someone should have.

i love this movie! Joyce always did get taken advantage of, if u think about it. I mean Suzanne was mean to everyone and ruined her own career as well. john was going to a spinoff sitcom and Joyce didn't even know about it until she found out for herself. my favorite part of the movie is at the end when they come out to wave to the audience and John holds out his hand to joyce then he says "I love you Joyce." that's so sad and the music is really sad to. it always makes me cry.

Yeah, the part that always gets to me is when the music is still playing at the end and it fades into Joyce DeWitt talking about laughter being the center of the universe and then she said how they were all the luckiest people in Hollywood and then she nods and looks like she is about to cry and then it fades away. I began to cry because I thought about John Ritter and the song just killed me!!

BTW, what is the name of that song and who sang it??

I do not know what the song was or who sings it, but I liked it too. My favorite part is the end when Janet takes Jack's hand and then they look into each other's eyes. He says "I love you Joyce!" That is so awesome.

I have two questions: I wonder if Joyce and Jonathon (did you notice that she called him Jonathon.....how cute is that) ever had a thing for one another behind the scenes. I mean.....I wonder if anything ever happened between them? I know John was married at the time, so probably not. They are both really "good" people. I bet Joyce was just heartbroken when John passed away. :-(

Second question is ......Did the producers ever ponder the idea of putting Jack and Janet together? I know the audience wanted them together! I wonder if Joyce and John ever thought that the producers should put them together?

Question 1: IMO, I think that Joyce did like him. She always express such an emotion towards him on interviews and stuff like that and I don't know, I just think that she did like him!

Question2: I remember in the THS, one of the producers said that the reason TAC, didn't work was b/c America wanted to see Jack and Janet together, and since it didn't happen TAC didn't work. and John said that he didn't think it was a good idea, since in order for the show to work they needes parents in law that wouldn't like Jack, and since Jack already meet Janet's parents in season 5, he thought it won't work!

Question 1: Maybe John and Joyce did have a thing for eachother but chose not to show it or give in to their feelings and chose to look at eatchother as brother/sister because of the media and his marriage and all that. Hey, you never know!! But that's what I think!!

Question 2: In the Three's Company book, Joyce said that she didn't know why they didn't choose Janet to end up with Jack. She said in her own words she would've loved for that to happen but I guess the producers wanted an unexpected a turn around into Three's A Crowd!!
