I just found this forum so hi.
I'm curious about what Andy was like in real life.I actually had a crush on him as a little girl, I thought he ws so handsome.And it seems from little I've read that he is very reclusive.Anyone know why?And has anyone ever actually met him?Also who rememebrs the "cracker commercials he used to do"?"MMMMM goood cracker!"

I'm new too. Andy Griffith's cracker commercial was for Ritz. Do you remember the bacon he advertised for? How about a restaurant chain

Dimestore I don't recall a bacon commercial or resturaunt chain either.I might would if I saw them but not off the top of my head.Thanks for the reply.

Glad I'm not the only one that remembers Andy's commercials for Ritz crackers, They were all over tv in the 70's.

he was a guest on conan obrien one night and conan asked him to say mmm good cracker andy thought it was funny so he said it

Was it that long ago. I thought it might have been in the early 80's but gosh Matlock came on I think in 1985 so it was probably before then. Seems like yesterdays those ads were on.

Yea, the Ritz commercials aired in the 70's.I have fond memories of those because my dad ( deceased 18 mths yesterday) used to do the "MMMMMM good cracker" thing and sounded just like Andy.He also had a head full of hair that had these waves on top.And we kids nicknamed him Andy.Even my now 18 yr old daughter called him Andy.What a sweet man he was.So when I see Andy Griffith I immediately think of my dad."Miss you Daddy".

Hi I'm new. Does anyone have all the black and white epsiodes in order or at least together by season? I have alot of shows to trade for like all of Alf, all of hogan family, all of Seinfeld. I have 40 uncut epsiodes of the brady bunch. 40 uncut epsiodes of different strokes. I got most of Matlock. Please email me at blair12_2000@yahoo.com
