Default anyone else disapointed..?? <<dvd spoiler>>

I just wondered if any one else was dissapointed with the dvd?? I mean, i was severly dissapointed by the so-called tribute to john ritter. what was that about? and i wasnt expecting the blurb for the second season to be that long or involved, but it was ONLY a blurb. i guess i just hoped they would pay more tribute to john, or at least have some photos from all his work throughout the years. i heard that they will be doing a tribute in the second season, i hope they do a good job. its just that i would have waited another year or two for the dvd to come out if they would put in lots of extra footage and an actual tribute. dont get me wrong, im glad they are now working on the tc dvd series, but it seems pretty pathetic that they used john ritters death to spur the production and sales. i am just really disapointed with this dvd (w/the exception of the eps, i like those eps), and wish they could have included more, not to mention pay a real tribute to john!

I was kind of dissapointed by the "Tribute to John" as well. I thought it would show scenes of his work or something like that. I loved the episodes as well, and am just lucky to have those.

John Ritter was alive and well during the entire run of Three's Company, and the DVD keeps reminding me that he's dead. It has Joyce's quote about John. It did seem like it was just released due to his death. Don't get me wrong, I love the show and am very glad to own the first season. They should save the John Ritter tribute for the If Ever Released 8 Simple Rules DVD.

Don't worry, season two will have a HUGE tribute to John, along with tons of extras (which have not been revealed to me yet). It'll be a must buy, I can assure you. I'm involved in this project in some way

I intend to buy ALL seasons of Three's Company. I would be happy with no bonus features, it's just that since they listed both a tribute and a "Season 2" section, I thought there would be more.

And to Pav, it's cool that you're involved with the next DVD. I'm sure it will be great!
