Question Vicky

I'm noone to judge or anything but what I've always wanted to know was, why didn't they pick a more attractive woman to play Vicky. I just thought that through the years since Jack dated some very pretty women, it should've made his steady girlfriend much prettier. But this is IMO!! I still think that Janet should've served as the steady girlfriend!!

Whether you want to believe this or not, Vicky was more attractive than Janet.

Vicky MAY have been better-looking than Janet, though IMO I'm not saying she is, but Janet still would have made the better girlfriend. Vicky and Jack knew eachother for what...An episode or two, before Jack proposed? Jack and Janet knew eachother longer, and they knew pretty much everything about eachother. As for Jack and Vicky, not very much was known.

I won't believe it because Janet was in fact way prettier and better than Vicky and would have been a way better partner with Jack. But that's IMO!!

Well, that's your opinion. Janet was never ugly. She was naturally pretty and that's what makes a woman beautiful!!

I agree w/3scompanyfreak! If the producers didn't want Janet to play the girlfriend, they should of given him a prettier girl. All throught out the show, Jack had really pretty girlfriends but then at the end he got Vicky, which IMO was bording, not funny at all and not pretty either! I still think JACK AND JANET made a CUTIER couple!

Janet went from cute to pretty, she was never ugly IMO.
I don't think Vicky was ugly either, but a better match for Jack definitley would have been Janet.

Remember, Joyce had a nose job before season 8. That's why she looked different.

Also, being pretty does not make someone a better person, and maybe Jack finally matured and realized that. Vicky seemed genuine, nice, intelligent, and responsible. Some of the "pretty" women Jack dated were snobs. When you're looking for "wife material", looks are not everything.

Which means Janet's nose job shouldn't of bothered Jack then!!

What they should've done when they saw how bad the ratings were, they should've just had Joyce come in as Janet who got divorced amonth ago. Then Vicky and Jack have a big fight and break up.Then Janet and Jack finally figure out that they have had feelings for each other that they have never unleashed. So Janet and Jack get an apartment by Jack's mother who visits them everyday thinking that they can't handle their apartment without her.

i totally agree. janet was definitly cute and then she grew into her beauty. vicky wasnt ugly either. but in alot of the episodes involving jack or janets family they all liked the other. jacks mom, and grandfather both liked janet. they even said it in the episode. janets mom, and dad liked jack too. i think it would have made better tv if they got together.

I was always dissapointed that Jack chose Vicky, and not a prettier girl. There was too much gum showing in her smile or something. The whole thing felt hurried. Whatever though.....
