I used to go to San Francisco with my mom and my stepdad since 1996. I've never seen a home like they used on "Full House". I found this picture off the TV from my webcam. According to the book "Mary-Kate & Ashley: Our Story" there are two ways:

1. The Tanner address is 1882 Gerard St.
2. All of the Tanner kids attended Frasier Street Elementry School.

i'm weird...i look at funny things that are done wrong in TV shows...

the front of the house is not the same as the inside of the house (they did quite a poor job on this)...like...the door on the front of the house is on the very edge of the right of the house, but they walk into the house, and you can go quite a ways to the right (into the kitchen). obviously, the floor plan is not the same. the picture of the house that they show is too small to be tha actual house that it is taped in. (the set should have been designed to match the house that they showed or they should have chosen a house that could feasably be the front of what the set is.

I don't think a lot of TV houses match up well with what we're supposed to believe is the outside.

Everyone asks about this. According to the DVD the house was not real. Another dream we can all lay to rest.

It IS a real house. The Tanner home address is fake, but the street name (Gerard Street) is real. The house is located on Alamo Square, which is a historic row of Victorian houses in downtown San Francisco. You can find this information on tvacres.com.

I LIVE in San Francisco, I should know. I haven't been there yet, but I know it exists!

I found something off of Pbase at one time. Since you've bump this 2-year old thread, the picture on that original post was something that I took from my webcam was the "Full House" house was shown on the screen from my old black & white TV from a long time ago. I give up on B&W TV's. Here is another shot of the house taken from PBase.

Last summer I went to the real Full House house, so I use to have the address, but I don't think I do anymore.

Default Blah

Someone once had a picture of the actual house. They were stingy with the address, told people to email and they'd give the address if you were deemed worthy. I forgot who it was, but what a jerk. It's not like we would trash the place, ya' know?

Anyway, I emailed them and they never got back to me. I guess they kept the address as a nice little gift to themselves.

In Peace,
King Creole
