Default What is Lisa's best movie?

Okay, going away from the show a bit, here's a new poll topic. Hope everyone's seen the movies because I haven't (and I call myself a Lisa-fan... ). Which do you think is the best movie Lisa has appeared in?

this is an old post, but i thought it needed a bump and further discussion!

i like "twirl" the best with "the wild women of chastity gulch" as a close second! i have seen all of these and there worth watching! i personally own them!

also, shes in another movie called "skyward" which is also really good!

how was Where The Red Fern Grows II? I know that was done a few years after FOL ended and around the time she was having babies. How did she look? how much was she in it?

WTRFG part II is a nice family movie. She plays the g/f to Doug McKeon (no relation to Nancy)'s character. It wasn't that big of a part IIRC (saw it many years ago).

Wow, I didn't even know she was in any movies. I'll have to watch some. I'd never even heard of these before.

its worth seeing just to see her! it was released in 1992, but i think it was filmed a considerable time earlier! i havent researched it or anything, but it appears that it was filmed anywhere from 1981-1984! like i said, i havent looked it up or anything its just that lisa looks younger...like around the 3rd or 4th season of "facts"! again, dont take that as hard fact...its just an assumption!

that might be the case, since I know in 1990-1992, she was busy with her pregnancies and I'd heard she quit acting almost as soon as FOL ended in 1988, so it's likely the film was left in the vaults for a few years instead of Lisa deciding to give acting one more go after a few years away

yeah right after "facts" ended in 1988 she got married and she was having her children in 1990, 1991, and 1992! after that she auditioned for some things, but didnt get any significant parts in anything! so i know it wasnt filmed then...the years were just an educated guess ("facts" education that is)! lol!

What really bothers me somehow is that she's said as of lately that she believes that the only reason why God enabled her to get into acting was to give her a platform for her to have a ministry for moms. It doesn't say much about the nature of her acting art or the roles she's played on. A lot of Christians do that: "We're not musicians, we're ministers with guitars."

thats been her view since she was 20 years old and possibly before! when she was on "facts", she said she didnt figure she be in the business much longer...it was just a "at that time in her life" thing...until God called her to do something else!

So what did the acting mean, then?

well shes said that God put her out there to spread His word...that He made a path for her to do that and then move on to other things! in her opinion (and i personally agree), anything can be used as a ministry for God...God called her to a different ministry! acting just opened a door for the rest of her life! however, after "facts" was over, she didnt just give up acting...she auditioned for different things, but didnt really get anything because God had a new calling on her life!
