..who never seem to post.

Well, of the 25 birthdays today, here are some stats:

12 people - never posted

6 people - 1 post

2 people - 2 posts

1 person - 3 posts

Of the other 4, only 2 people averaged over 0.5 posts per day-
HDfanLiz and Bonnie is Great.

Well Happy Birthday to you two- you'll be the only ones who might see this anyway!!

I think one thing you should keep in mind is that guests do not have a lot of access to things on the boards other than to just read posts. Guests obviously can't post but they aren't able to view profiles, they can't vote in polls, and they are not even able view images and attachments.

Another thing is that people can be shy sometimes. With SO I feel very comfortable and I know the mods and the admins. I know how things go around here. Last month I registered to the PlayStation.com message boards. But I haven't posted there because I need to adjust to their standards. "Lurking" helps. When I first registered to SO, I didn't post a lot. I was just looking around, doing a lot of reading, and other things but I didn't speak up a lot. I sort of needed to get my feet wet first so to speak. It took months but now I feel comfortable here.

I'm registered at tv tome but I only post once in a while. I'm over here a lot more and it still took me about 2 months to post regularly.

Okay, we'll light the candles, but I aint singing Happy Birthday.

I can see why some folks might be apprehensive to join in, It can be very intimidating. I know there are a few message boards I joined but posted only once or twice.

When I first registered, I was a little shy and didn't feel comfortable posting just anywhere. I feel better now and am posting a LOT more often, but I still keep a little distance because it can be intimidating when you're new.

234 are banned? Wow. There should be some where that list's everyone who's been banned. Something like "The loser hall of fame"

Yeah! I always notice that too. Also, we get a lot of new registered people everyday. Almost none of them end up being a regular member.

When I was on here for the first few days, I admit that I was shy. It seemed that a lot of people had their own "cliques" lol. But eventually, I got the hang of things
