Question I'm sooo disappointed......HELP!

Ok, my Best friend is starting to ruin her reputation by doing who knows what with boys. She claims that nothing happened, but i don't know what to think now. She's skipping school to go see boys, and today she did something she had no business doing, now the whole basketball team thinks she did more than what she probably did. She also likes boys who are way older than her, and i can never figure out who whether she really has a boyfriend or not because she's involved with so many. I'm only disappointed because she didn't used to be this way, i don't know what happened..but she's changing. I'm starting to look at her in different ways, not as a good girl, but one of those other girls who do things like that. Do i have a right to be disappointed? Am i overeacting to this? Have any of you ever had this problem before? If so, what did u do about it? I just don't wanna loose my best friend......

Bind her legs and feet together while she's sleeping and she won't be like that anymore.

My family is having the same problem with my cousin Emily she ran away again and if she gets caught this time she's gonna be put away until she's 18. Who knows what she's doing she's probably out there hooking or something.

no your not overreacting. It bothers you cause you care about her. But this is normal for certain girls. I had friends who went "slutty" as soon as we hit High School... You either have to accept it or separate yourself from her. She is eventually going to get a bad reputation in school for being easy. If it was me id start finding a new less slutty best friend to hang out with. People change and it's just part of life.... Im sorry you feel bad

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I think it's awful when girls ruin their reputations over boys who probably don't even care for them like that. If I were you, I would talk to my friend. I'd ask her why she is doing this. There may be a more serious problem at hand. Maybe she is only doing it because she feels insecure about herself. Tell her that you are worried about her and that you care. That may be all she needs to hear. If she refuses to talk to you, I would simply tell her that you feel her behavior is wrong and you don't feel comfortable being with her as long as she is behaving that way. Then I would try to meet new people who feel the same way as you do.

I am so, so sorry about your friend doing you know what with boys. I think you should go and talk to her, one-to-one, woman-to-woman, and how she is hurting not only her reputation but probably flunking school. Do her parents know about what their daughter is doing. You have the right to feel hurt, angry, and disappointed. But you have to follow your heart and instincts of trying to help her seek counseling and talk it out with not only seek counseling but also talk to her family, pastor or rabbi, be her friend and help and guide her on the direct path or you may have to do the hardest thing a friend has ever done. End the friendship not only for your sake but for her sake and showing her the tough love treatment. Hope everything goes well because we will be praying for her, you, the people like the boys involved, and her family and relatives.

I'm really sorry about your friend. You have every right to be mad especially since you're her friend. I think you should just go right up to her and start talking to her about it. Maybe she's not aware of the seriousness of what she's doing or maybe she is. Maybe she needs someone to talk to, because something recently happened and going out with different guys is a way for her to release her emotions. If all else fails, then go see her parents. Maybe they can help her. Good Luck.

So she's gone slutty, as long as she's still a good person/student it doesn't really matter. People change.

And I hate the stereotype that "slutty" girls just want attention or are going through problems. How many people say that about guys? Women like sex too, you know.

You have a right to be dissapointed- and your friend is one who wants to grow up too fast- and does it wrong. You notice within a group of friends that some don't change- the others grow up too fast, and some never grow up- I notice this all the time.
