In your opinion, which of the following do you think sums up the representations of teenagers in sitcoms and soap operas generally? Are teenagers shown as…

1. Happy and friendly
2. Unhappy and unfriendly
3. Problematic and a nuisance
4. Helpful and a pleasure to have around

Please give me your opinions on this matter as it would be very useful to me in my media coursework. Thankyou

while i find most teens i know to be friendly to me personally i find that the networks seem to be using the old teen sterrotypes of the cluess teen who gets drunk and is disrespectful to everyone around and it gives teens a bad name im not a teen anymore but if you give them a chance and listen you will find they are alot smarter then people think
