I saw somebody do this on the Roseanne board, so I thought of bringing it here. Rate each season (well, too early in season 10 to rate it already) from 0 to 5

Interesting question, but being a chatterbox I can't just number them, so.

FIRST SEASON: I hated, didn't laugh through the first few episodes, didn't try again till the finale, which was great.
Rating: 2

SECOND SEASON: Really good comically and romantically (the Ross n' Rachel thing). Rating: 5

THIRD SEASON: Great. Rating: 5

FOURTH SEASON: Great laughs, culminating with Chanlder/Monica-Ross says Rachel ending. Rating: 5

FIFTH SEASON: Ending the Joey/Chandler fun and the drastic change in Ross' personality loses a point, still strong. Rating: 4

SIXTH SEASON: More of the same, still funny. Rating: 4

SEVENTH SEASON: Really struggled the first half of the season, strong finish. Rating: 3

EIGHTH SEASON: Reaching the end, still likeable. Rating: 3

Season 1- Started off pretty strong, the chemistry wasn't completely there yet. But the storylines were creative and original. 4

Season 2- This IMO was probably the best season, the acting, writing, directing, and producing were all great. 5

Season 3- This season was good, but to me was kind of lacking something. The characters seemed somewhat unbelieveable during this season. Still very good though. 4

Season 4- This season was an improvement over the 3rd season, and had some of the funniest episodes yet. The Phoebe pregnancy story, and the Ross/Emily storyline fit perfectly. 4.5

Season 5- This gets high marks from me because two of my absolute favorite episodes are from this season. The Chandler Monica storyline played great during this season, too bad they don't have the same chemistry anymore. 4.5

Season 6- This is where the show really started to age. The stories weren't that believable and the acting slipped. 3.5

Season 7- The show started to get better towards the end, and is probably why the 8th season started out so strong. 3.5

Season 8- This season started out VERY strong, and left behind a classic episode (The one with the videotape) too bad it also left behind an un-needed baby for Rachel. 4

Season 9- I hate this season with a passion. The Thanksgiving episode was the only one that was even remotely funny. The Rachel/Joey thing should've never seen the light of day. 2.5

Season 10- So far the show hasn't gotten that much better since the 9th season, but i'm giving it a slightly higher mark because this season hasn't ended yet. 3.0
