I just wanted to let everyone know that Lolac of Twilo earned her black belt in Tae Kwon Do this past weekend. Now my children can say, "My Mother Can Beat Up My Father!"

WTG! Now you can beat up anyone who tries to steal your dvds. Not that I was going to come to your house at 2:15 am on Wednesday and take them or anything.

Thanks, everyone! It took a little over 3 years and it was a lot of hard work, but definitely worth it. My 10 year old son got his black belt last June and my 6 year old daughter is well on her way. I only posted it on this message board because I thought of Laura Petrie executing that perfect Judo flip at Rocky Leone's! (Which, by the way, is one of my favorite episodes!)

now I know that the martial arts are not SUPPOSED to be used for offense (as opposed to defense), but perhaps you'd like to go out to van nuys and kick a few showbiz butts.

Lolac was never in danger of loosing Her thumbs. Only earthlings loose their thumbs and their immagination when we become exposed to the absorbitron in an activated walnut.
