i thought I'd let you all know about "SetacOne@aol.com" . I'm not saying he's a bad trader, since I have not traded with him, but he did e-mail me about purchasing some various Lucy shows from me last month. On October 13th , after not receiving anything, I figured it was just someone "faking" interest, as happens on occasion. Anyway he sent me this email:

I sent out the payment for $17 for a 4 hour tape which includes shipping and handling charges. Here's what I want on the tape, in case you forgot: Lucy in London, CBS Salutes Lucy: the First 25 Years, and the following episodes of Here's Lucy: Lucy and the Used Car Dealer and Lucy Loses Her Cool. Thanks!!

I've never received that amount, so I question this person's honesty. If he lied about this, maybe he lies about other things with other people in here. I saw his recent posting below about wanting Laverne and Shirley. I should say I have not written back to him, simply because I dont want to have my time wasted again. This is just a heads up for others. If he does e-mail you ( I'm not sure if he even had anything to trade), don't send first.

AND THIS GUY WAS A COMPLETE TIME WASTER AND A TOTAL LOSER. HE ONLY WANTED TO SEND 2 TAPES AT A TIME. TALK ABOUT CHEAP AND A TOTAL LOSER AND A TIME WASTER. A BLANK TAPE COSTS 1 DOLLAR, ITS LIKE GET A LIFE DUDE, IF YOU ARE GONNA BE THAT CHEAP WHY EVEN TRADE. THEN HE TELLS ME IF HE DOES A TRADE WITH ME, HE WANTS ME TO MY TAPES TO HIM FIRST AND THEN HE ANNALYZES THE TAPES AND THEN HE SENDS MY TAPES, AND THAT'S AN IF.

BEWARE OF THIS LOSER. THIS GUY ma932588 HE PROBABLY WORKS AT MCDONALDS OR BURGER KING.

NOW SOME GUY GOT HIM FOR $17 OR 4 TAPES AS HE CLAIMS, AND HE IS TELLING THE WHOLE WORLD ABOUT THIS.

THE ONLY REASON I AM WRITING THIS IS I HATE CHEAP PEOPLE LIKE PAUL.

paul is a great tradder i sent mine first to him and i got his tapes with no problems. maybe the reason why he wants to send first is because he doesnt want to get burned

Yeah I can't stand it when people e-mail traders and sellers about a certain show and they never get back to you or send the amount that they said they would send on a certain day. It really annoys the hell out of me. It's very pointless as well. I remember a while ago when I replied to one of his wants but he didn't send the money so I just said to myself that I should just forget about it since all he's doing is wasting my time.

Is a good trader,after the first trade he sent me plenty more then 2 tapes worth,Iv traded over 100 episodes with Paul,for no problems at all.

i have traded with paul for almost 2 years.he has great shows and provides a wonderful service.i recommend him to everyone.

Thats two dollars plus shipping! So say about 5 bucks! Id be mad if i got burned for 5 bucks cu z i got 2 kids and 1 is in diapers! i can buy a pack of diapers 4 5 bucks! Milk! food! GAs! Shall I go on......

I agree! Besides, the newer you are the less likely people are to trust you and therefore require you to send first. That's just the way it is. We've all been there at one time or another...at the bottom of the totem pole, but it doesn't last long if you establish a good reputation.
