Default what do you really think of "According to Jim?"

I've watched a few episodes of Acccoding to Jim and I really don't think the show is all that funny. I was mad when they showed it for the past two weeks in place of 8 simple rules! I would've rather watched reruns of 8 simple rules!!!what do u guys think?

This'll probably be moved to the According To Jim page, but in answer to your question, no, I'm not a big fan of the show either. It seems to have the same premise for almost every episode Iv'e seen. Jim does something incredibly stupid. His wife becomes disgusted with him and yells at him a bit. In an attempt to make right with his wife, he ends up making the situation 100 times worse. And the end of the episodes Iv'e seen usually involve Jim and his wife in the bedroom where they argue a little bit more before finally making up. Iv'e probably seen around 20 episodes, and most of them went something like that. The bumbling, and fumbling, neanderthal father thing, is a premise I got sick of years ago. I'll occasionally watch an episode if I'm extremely bored, but I doubt I'll ever make a habit of it.

Yep! That's pretty much the show alright.

But I love looking at Courtney Thorne-Smith so I usually watch anyway. It's one of those take it or leave it shows. But a very simple formula every night.

I've only seen one episode (the one where they all dressed up for their Halloween party). I thought it was pretty funny, but I don't think there's anything that sets it apart from other TV shows. It's like a less-funny version of Everybody Loves Raymond.

I don't care for the show at all. It is a rip off of KING OF QUEENS A much funnier show and more intelligent. If the IQ is too low, I turn into a zombie.
Beluchi is the same in ALL his shows and Courtney is not believable. I'm surprised it's still on the air.

I like According To Jim.
I think it and 8 Simple Rules work good together.
(although I prefer 8 Simple Rules)

Its a lot like "King of Queens", another show I like, but I wouldnt call it a ripoff.
According To Jim focuses more around the family, while King of Queens is just the husband and wife.

Id take According To Jim over Everybody Loves Raymond anyday.
But not over 8 Simple Rules.
