I personally think that Tootie was a great character, throughout the run of "The Facts of Life". People always complain that she was annoying, talkative, and so on. But, seriously, can you think of "The Facts of Life" without her ?? (Besides, were the other three girls really "perfect" ??)

i have nothing against tootie. she just wasn't my fav character! i thought she could be kind-of nosey and start problems but the fol wouldn't be the same w/out her!

Sometimes Tootie was annoying, as in "Working It Out", and I didn't usually like the eps that were Tootie eps, like "Starstruck" or "Runaway", but she is absolutely hilarious in "Gone With the Wind, Parts 1 & II" and "Out of the Fire".

She was awesome just not my favorite so I think if Tootie wasn't there it wouldn't be quite so funny

I have nothing against Tootie. I think she was a great character. Just not my favourite. But the show wouldn't have been the same without her or any of the others girls.

If there was no Tootie, then Natalie might have been a bore, because they were best friends, and Natalie and Blair and Jo, weren't really best friends. Tootie was my least favorite girl, but she wasn't bad or anything. I was annoyed by Tootie sometimes though, and I didn't like Jeff.

I like Tootie as much as any character, even though Jo is my favorite. Tootie did have a bad habit of snooping, but then again there were times that Blair stuck her nose where it didn't belong too. Well, it's forgivable on Tootie's part bcuz she was just a kid. She was cute when she was younger, but she became kind of irritating as she grew up- always trippin' over the little things.

If you ask me I would say that Kim Field's real life personality is much more likable than her character as Tootie. She struck me as a very intelligent person with the way she breezed through those questions on "Who wants to be a millionaire" (even though she missed the $125,000 question- hey that was a tough one)
