Question Long list of thoughts and questions. . .

Keep reading for my VERY random thoughts and questions.

It's great now that Charlotte, Lisa, Mindy, and Kim are planning on doing the reunion movie. I know a lot of you really want to see Nancy in it too, but she's not going to. We should just be thankful that the other girls have agreed to do it.

You know that "Becoming Family" magazine ?? (the one that has Lisa on the cover, and a whole story about her) I went to 5 stores, and none of them carried the magazine !! I went to K-Mart, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, and Walmart. I'm going to Barnes & Noble tomorrow, so maybe they'll have it...

Has anyone ordered the autographed pictures from Lisa Whelchel ? I'm thinking of ordering them - I can't believe there only $5.00 !

I reccomend everyone to go to http://www.lisawhelchel.com
and sign up for her mailing list. Every week, she sends you excerpts from her book, as well as her latest information.
Lisa's book "The Facts of Life and Other Lessons My Father Taught Me" (or something like that) should be out in a while. Her deadline is next week !

What's up with the Columbia House videos ?

Happy Birthday Nancy McKeon !! (April 4) I hope that this is a great day for you, and I wish you the best in life !

Well, that's a lot ! Sorry, but I didn't want to post 5 different topics, so I just crammed them all in here. Please answer anything you can !

The Columbia House videos are pretty expensive. It's $4.95 the first video, and then $29.95 every video after that, and they keep sending them to you and billing you until you tell them to stop your subscription. You get 4 episodes a tape. They come out with one tape a month, so It will take a good amount of years for the series to come out. I think it's a rip-off.

Oh, I know how much the Columbia House videos are. But, is anyone actually buying them ? I want to buy them, but I don't think they're releasing it on DVD yet. (The DVD's will probably be even more expensive )
And, someone posted on this board that even the DVD's will only have 4 episodes ! The DVD's should have more episodes and extra footage...oh well. I can't afford $30.00 a DVD. (They'll probably be that much)

Sorry, callmetootie. My question was pretty broad.

I don't think that anyone has obtained a copy yet. I know that Todd will put up a message when he gets one, he has recieved his Diff'rent Strokes copy. I know that the first tape has Rough Housing, Like Mother Like Daughter, Return Of Mr. Garrett, and I.Q.

Actually, the tapes are $19.95 after you buy the first one and they are now available! Info will be posted in a new topic.

I don't believe this ! I went to Borders yesterday, and I STILL couldn't find the Becoming Family magazine.

Here are the places I checked. None of them carried the magazine.

I went to K-Mart, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Walmart, and Borders.

I still need to check Barnes and Nobles.

In my dream last night, I was at a store and I bought the magazine. LOL.

Today (which is the 8th of April) I found the Becoming Family mag. at the grocery store Food City. It was $3.95. If I were you I would hurry and get it because it was the last issue there. It will be on news stands 'til June the something.

Hope that helped!!!

I don't live by a Food City. I went to the website, and have been going there almost everyday, but it doesn't list stores that carry it. Oh well. I'll check Barnes and Noble.

Is Food City like a regular grocery store like Ralph'r or like Smart and Finals, cuz i don't think Barns and Noble has it.

as for the whole Columbia Houset tape thing... As Soon as i found out about the tapes i emailed todd and told him about it and we both i THINK ordered our tapes on that same day.. so when he gets his tape i probably should too, but I DID buy the tapes from Columbia house.... I have to pay for them out of my paycheck (every other paycheck anyways) but it's only like 10% of my paycheck so it's not THAT bad... and i heard they are GOOOD quality!
